I am very sorry but I am not happy with these types of contests which have so many plots.

there will be no competition at all. There will be max 3 participants and each will write on a different plot. that's not a competition at all. a really good, fun contest should have everyone writing on the same plot. those types of contests are the ones which have been successful on the forum.

I suggested one plot last time and no one wrote on that plot. I was totally disappointed that no one tried and there was no point holding another contest with that plot because everyone has seen it and it's clear that no one liked it.

If I were to write on one plot I want good competition. Not just one more person writing or just me being the sole writer and everyone giving low marks because that plot itself was bad.

The first plot reminds me of a Khotey Sikkey episode and the second of a CSI: NY episode. So I can tell you right now that no matter what I do I'll end up borrowing heavily from those episodes if I write on these 2.

GD I agree with Vis di. These multi-plot contests are no fun at all. What you can do is choose one plot of your liking and use only that. It's a lot more fun when everyone is on the same playing ground, i.e. using the same plot, than using separate plots. I've honestly stopped taking part in those story contests where there is more than one plot.

Additionally many writers will tend to gravitate towards the plot that has more substance and thus gives them more leeway to write on it. In these 3, the first 2 will have more entries and the third one the least (maybe even none). So if you really want to make it an interesting contest, I would recommend choosing the third plot.

Shreya, I don't agree that we should use plot 3 because it will receive very less entries and we want to force people to choose the tough plot. The problem here is that contests are so tough that we run out of ideas. We really want more participants, so it is better to choose the plot which many people like and is more easy in general.

About plot 1, well it's my idea and I chose this because I wanted to rectify AKAKR part 10 which had Maya's chahne lagi dialogue, T almost hugging Abhi and Abhay Shukla's grand entry, Abhi shooting ACP and what not crap. I wanted a real hostage situation.
