He doesn't need cid to promote his movie and unfortunately unlike previous movie promos this time cid needs srk to improve trps.

I can't help but agree with that. In fact CID needs movie promotions in general. If Ranveer or Deepika come on CID as well to promote Bajirao Mastani or Akshay Kumar comes on to promote Airlift or Farhan Akhtar and Big B for Wazir there will be a big improvement in TRPs just for that one episode.

There was a time when CID promoted movies. Now movies are going to promote CID in a way.
