it's a theory.

About another popular theory which states that the Channel has 'some problem' with Aditya sir..
Against this theory :
I would like to ask: what is that problem? Why should a channel making US$160 million per year have a problem and still keep him? There have been shows where the very famous leads have been replaced because of issues with the production house and/or channel.
Also,Aditya sir is professional enough and the channel rarely has any direct link with it's actors,rather the production house is directly linked to the actors.

In favour of the theory:
You know,it's a male dominated company-both the channel and the production house.
They don't feel he is popular as an actor especially as much as some others.They feel people like Abhijeet the character, not AS the actor.They especially don't realise he is popular among girls.
They aired Abhijeet special on his birthday last year and didn't find the need to make Aditya Sir special.
You know I was on debate mansion and there some guys said they have no clue of why girls like virat kohli.SERIOUSLY! That's just how clueless many guys are about girls' taste! You can see many such examples where one gender folk go gaga over one person(say Y) and the opposite gender folk are like 'what's so good about Y?!?!'

With Sony this is perfectly true. Otherwise during the veerta awards or any other function ... even in kbc...why woukd they addresss him as Abhijeet and not Aditya? I remember even HP had come out with an article where he said that and we all were annoyed.

Also the second point, very few people acknowledge this fact. Never once has anyone from the channel or FW agreed that even Abhi has a female fan following. They only think girls like 25 year old muscular fair skinned chocolate boys who are on Facebook and have 10000 girls liking his personal page and posting 'I love you' all over his page. They think he's not cool enough. Daya at least has this door breaking image but Abhi doesn't, so they think he's not that popular.
