will there be an episode on sunday? because there is that diwali special episode of kbc at 8 on sony... wanted to know if that will get over by 10... really want to watch CID on sunday!!

Ya, there will...as per the schedule it is to be aired on 10:30, indian time...Have A Look Schedule

I asked my mom as well because she watches KBC and she said that she believes Big B said the finale would be just 2 hours. Including breaks that should be 2 and a half max which means there will be an episode.
