I again post all the rules, because there are some new rules , pls read.

Rules and Regulations -

1. Har roz ek he ques. pucha jayega , agar koi agle din koi ques. post karna chahta hai to vo mujhe inform karde. (by msg.)

2. Ques. thoda sa typical ho, itna aasan bhi na ho or itna mushkil nhi na ho ki sabhi bore ho jaye.

3. NO general discussion

4. You can PM ur answer to me and I will post ur answer in weekend with the name of participants.

5. Ques. post karne wale ko answer weekend me likhna hoga lekin sabse pahele main sabhi ke answers ke replies post karunga.

6. Ques. ke aage MB-1 , MB-2 zaroor likhe, taki week ke end me answer batate time dhyan rahe ke konse ques. ka answer kya hai.

7. MB-1 means Ques.1 , simalarly MB-2 means Ques.2

8. PM ke title ke liye AMB-1 post kare (AMB means Answer of Mind Bender-1)

9. Question se related query aap yahan post kar sakte hai kyonki agar ques. se related query agar msg. karni padi to koi bhi query karega he nahi, kya pata koi meri tarah ye sochta ho ki query me msg. karenge, isse badhiya direct ulta-sidha tukka mar do , jo ki theek nhi hai or msg. me time bhi jyada waste hoga.

10. Always write your answer with explanation by PM to me.

11. Weekend (Sunday) ko koi ques. put nhi kiya jayega uss din pure week ke answer discuss kiye jayenge.

12. Agle din ka ques. book ho jane par aapko inform kar diya jayega taaki aap ko ye pata chal jaye ki aapke dwara aana wala ques. agle se agle din post hoga.

13. jo question put karega vo answer nhi de sakta kyonki uske answer dene ka koi faida nhi hai, usse to answer pata he hoga lekin usse apne MBQ (Mind Bender Question) ka naswer weekend me zaroor post karna hoga taaki answer ka pata chal sake.

14. Hit button when you read out the question.

15. Ek MBQ ka jawaab dene ke liye aapke pass weekend (Sunday, means before Sunday , not on Sunday) tak ka time hoga, isiliye pura din beet jane par bhi aap agle din pahele wale sawal ka jawab de sakte hai, ya saturday tak bhi

ALL AMB's of MBQ

MB-1

In a school there are 1000 lockers and 1000 students. The teacher first asks the first student to go and open every locker. Then he asks the second student to go and close every second locker. The third student is asked to go to every third locker and if it is open to close it and vice-versa. This process is continued till the 1000th student.

How many open and how many closed lockers are there in the end?

AMB-1

2nd student closes all even numbered lockers

3 rd student visits every third locker. .. so s/he closes every odd multiple of 3 but opens every even multiple of 3

Student no 4 finds locker no 4 closed so opens it...after that no one visits that locker

and so on.

For every prime number the student numbers that number will close it.

Most composite numbers have even number of factors. So the student numbered each of those factors will visit, do alternate open-close- open- close and finally it will be closed. After that no one from higher numbered locker will visit.

BUT. ...perfect squares have odd number of factors. so in the open-close-open-close-open cycle they will ultimately be open and no one will visit those lockers after that.

Therefore lockers numbered perfect squares will be open.

Answer is number of perfect squares from 1 to 1000. That is 31 lockers.

MB-2

In this AMB, there is no need of Explanation.

MB-3

This is a four part brain teaser -

1. How do you put a giraffe into a refrigerator in four steps?

2. How do you put an elephant into a refrigerator in four steps?

3. The lion king is an hosting an animal conference. Which animal doesn't attend?

4. There is a river you must cross but it is used by crocodiles and you don't have a boat. How can you cross safety.

AMB-3 with Explanation

1. Bring the giraffe, Open the refrigerator, Keep the giraffe in and close the refrigerator.It's not complicated.

2. Open the refrigerator, take out the giraffe, keep the elephant in and close the refrigerator.

3. The elephant. He's still in the refrigerator. After all, you just put him there.

4. Jump into the river and swim across. The crocodiles are at the Lion King's meeting.This is not a typical brain teaser, but it is amusing.

btw answer to my question is wrong. The second student does not close all open lockers. s/he only visits every 'second' locker. Please think again.
