well I prefer to watch Daya Sir continue in CID rather than any reality show - though such shows promise to be 'non-scripted' but as the show proceeds the word ' reality ' transforms to something else than just 'reality'

NOM , but what I observed is every reality show is either biased or partial towards their own favourite contestant's and more above the whole ' unfair voting ' system which never supports the rightful competitor, so there's hardly any scope for better deserving competitors. 🤓 but still if at all Daya Sir decides to do the show , as his fan I will definitely support him and wish him better than the best 😳at the same time I also hope he balance well with CID. 😊

I don't get it.problem with soap shows,problem with reality shows,problem with roles they get in movies..not everyone, but i never find a single occasion when everyone is happy with what our favorite actors do,especially duo.

Hope to see him in CID no matter how much...at least we will see him na! Plus it's only a matter of few months. We can do this much for him and motivate him. 😉 It's nice to see his trying different shows. 😳 I will surely support him and vote for him! Way to go Daya sir! Our super talented actor and officer! ❤️

TV actor Dayanand Shetty, known for his character 'Daya' in the crime serial 'CID', feels people imitating his on-screen acts like breaking doors is in fact recognition of his work.

"There was no conscious effort to do it and impress people. We don't know what people liked in this style," said Shetty whose character is popular for aggression while dealing with criminals.

However, Shetty has no complaints with people imitating his character Daya.

"It feels good when people like it... It is an accomplishment of the work you are known for. It is not a respectable work but people like it. I have seen kids breaking down doors because they are impressed. If someone is impressed then it shows you are successful," Shetty told PTI.

Shetty will take a sabbatical from 'CID' for pulling off stunts in stunt reality show 'Khatron Ke Khiladi', and is quite excited about it.

"I was offered fear factor eight years back when it was in Argentina. This time I thought of taking up the show, it is a brand. It is medal on my uniform and I feel proud to be associated with it. I will get chance to do stunts," Shetty said
