Filmmaker Rohit Shetty, who will host the fifth season of action- adventure show "Khatron Ke Khiladi", says the new season promises an amalagamtion of stunts and entertainment.

"When action and comedy come together, it creates amazing entertainment. This show also has everything that will entertain you. I was convinced because of the different format as it has a lot of stunts and entertainment," the 40-year-old said here Friday at the unveiling of the contestants.

The new season features 12 contestants including Bollywood actors Ranvir Shorey,Rajniesh Duggal, Niketan Dheer, choreographer-actor Salman Yusuff Khan and actress Mugdha Godse.

TV actor Dayananad Shetty, popularly known as Daya of 'CID', Mahhi Vij, Pooja Gor are the names from the TV industry, besides Kushal Tandon and Gauahar Khan.

Stunt woman Geeta Tandon and Femina Miss India International Rochelle Maria Rao will also compete in the show, that will be shot in Cape Town, South Africa, this time.

Dayanand Shetty has "no strategies" to succeed in Colors' Khatron Ke Khiladi

Dayanand Shetty has been enthralling the audiences for a long time now with his enchanting performance in Sony TV's CID. The actor has now flown down to Cape Town to shoot for the upcoming Colors' show Khatron Ke Khiladi-Season where he will be seen competing with an exciting bunch of actors under the guidance of host Rohit Shetty.

As the game requires contestants to be mentally strong, we speak to Dayanand aka Inspector Daya on his strategy that he will adopt to combat his fears on the show.

Says Daya, "Well, it is such that like everyone I have my own fears. But then I have decided not to adapt any strategy as it is all in the mind. At the moment when we have to perform, I feel whoever is mentally strong will be able to make it. Adapting a strategy also means falling for certain expectations."

The fearless actor looks forward to doing a lot of unique and different stunts in Khatron Ke Khiladi.

Now ab ye kya hay...???😕

It's Rohit as the host. Obviously there will be some comedy. Usually it's the same stuff like what defines an actor. I'm fully expecting a scene where they go "Daya darwaza todo".

Even I will miss Daya Sir but the way media is giving coverage to two contestants only seems channel has already decided who is going to be the winner 😉 😆 GC is not gettiing as much coverage as these two

so relax CID and Daya Sirs fans 🤗 he will be back in no time.
