"You wiped away my tears and my pain

Your eyes promised me something...

Something that made me feel the luckiest,

And made me feel I was the daughter of a king.

You are going to be, always there for me

A gem as you there are, but a few,

I closed my eyes and ran into your embrace

When, to you, my heart spoke the words, ''Dad, I love you''."

these words depicts the feeling of dad's love very beautifully...😊😊
i loved❤️❤️ these lines and these lines reminded me of my dad 😊🤗 and i want to say it to him
"Dad i love you ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗"

i loved❤️❤️ the other poem of yours "A blessing" which i recently read...

"Tears rolled down my cheeks as I realized

This time of happiness and not of pain,

For I knew, of pain I would never cry again,

Because always with me are... MY FRIENDS!"

Reshma that was a lovely poem. I especially loved the last 2 stanzas. There was something about them that touched a cord.
