SONAKSHI IN DANGER
Scene 1
At the Hotel
Imran Khan at the press conference of his new film "Once Upon a time in Mumbai, Dobara", talks about the film to the reporters. Meanwhile Sonakshi goes to a washroom to freshen up a bit before joining Imran for the conference. Someone enters Sonakshi's room via the AC duct. He starts looking for something in the room. He locks her in washroom and checks her wardrobe, her purse, etc but doesn't find the thing that he was looking for. There was a sudden noise of a bullet shot. Sonakshi breaks open the washroom door only to find a dead body lying. Imran and others too, come running inside the room and find the body.
CID team arrives. Sonakshi gives them the overview of what has happened. The dead man was the one who had come searching for something in the room. CID finds nothing about his identity. Just a revolver in his pockets and also find the AC duct open. However, Imran tells them that the door of Sonakshi's room was locked from inside when they had arrived after the gunshot. Daya suggests that the murder as well as the dead man must have entered the room via the ac duct. The condition of the room proves that someone had come looking for something in the room, however sonakshi confirms that nothing was missing from her bag.
Imran informs them that he had noticed the dead man at the sets of the film during their last schedule, although, he was not from the crew.
Scene 2
Outside the hotel
Nikhil shows the team the other end of the AC duct, where there were some shoe marks. The marks led them to the manhole. They predict that the murderer or the dead man must have entered the hotel campus via this manhole.
Scene 3
CID Bureau
Purvi comes with the reports confirming that the finger prints on Sonakshi's purse were those of the dead man. It proves that he was the one to have come looking for something. Freddy shows them some photos taken during the shoots. The dead man was visible in some of the photos.
Scene 4
Nikhil finds the other opening to the manhole and shows them to Daya and Sachin. There were certain shoe marks here as well. Also, a bike was parked alongside which belonged to no one around. Daya asks him to get information about the bike.
Scene 5
CID Bureau
Rajat enters with the information about the bike. It was stolen last week from outside a bank. It was the same bank which was robbed on the very same day. Freddy suggests that it might have been a case of fight between the partners in crime regarding the stolen money.
Scene 6
At the bank
Daya, Purvi and Freddy visit the bank and check the CCTV footage of the day on which the robbery had taken place. They notice a girl who seemed to be associated with the 2 masked men(robbers). The CCTV footage of the camera placed right outside the bank shows two men in the same dress as that of the robbers. One of them was Danny, a thief involved in petty crimes. They notice Danny speaking to someone on phone at one time and the girl talking to someone on phone at the same time while she was inside the bank. This confirmed that she too was involved with them.
Scene 7
At the bar
CID team visit a bar where Danny is most often seen. However, the bar tender informs them that he hadn't been visiting the bar since the last 2 days. Purvi notice the same girl who was seen in the CCTv footage. The bar tender tells them that she was Sheena, one of the dancers at the bar who had joined very recently and knew Danny well enough.
Scene 8
CID team follows Sheena after she leaves the bar. She takes a taxi to a bungalow. CID team hears a gunshot from inside the house. They enter and find Sheena lying on the floor, almost dying. They search the house, but the killer had escaped. Before her last breath, Sheena says something about "Reena". They decide to search the house properly.
Scene 9
CID Bureau
ACP is discussing the case with Rajat and Freddy. Sheena's real name was Reena, she was an undercover cop working on a mission named "Hawk Eye". Even Manish (whose dead body was found in Sonakshi's room) was an undercover cop working on the same mission. They were trying to gather more and more information about a particular gang.
Scene 10
Manish's House
Sachin, Purvi and Pankaj visit Manish's house. They meet a girl who introduces herself as his wife. Sachin informs her about her husband's death. On further interrogation, she tells them she had no idea about any mission that he was working for. Pankaj finds a diary behind the dressing table. According to the diary, Manish had an appointment to meet Johnsons on the day of his death. The wife tells them that she had no idea about any Johnsons.
Scene 11
Police Department
Daya and his team visit the police department to enquire about Johnson. However, they tell the CID team that there was none by that name in the mission. Daya predicts that "Johnsons" might point to something else altogether. He asks Purvi to jot down the alphabet number of each letter in the word. On further adding each 2 digit number to get a single digit number, they find it could be a phone number. Daya dials the number and finds it belonged to a Marriage Helpline. Next they suggest that the number might be a password or an address. On checking in the computer, they find 4 possible address with that combination, 2 of which didn't exist anymore. The third one was an address of a shoe store. The remaining one was that of a house.
Scene 12
It was an empty bungalow. Sachin and Purvi check inside the house, whereas Pankaj checks outside and finds another small hut. He breaks open the door. Inside was a computer and photos, newspaper cuttings etc. The room seemed like to be Manish's work centre. They check the computer but find it locked. After trying various possible passwords, Purvi suggests "Hawk Eye" as the password which turns out to be the correct one. They find 3 documents. One which gave details about the "Jakota" gang who were involved in all sorts of illegeal activities. Another document had the details of the various accounts belonging to the gang at various parts of the world. And third document was a blueprint of some building with the date 21st July given on it. They decide to show the blueprint at the Municipality office and get information about the building.
Scene 13
At the club
The blueprint was that of a club. CID team visits the place. On enquiring, they are told that there was fire in the club on the 21st of July. When Danny's photo was shown, the manager tells them that he had come to the club that day with the owner of the club ' Mr.Kulbhushan.
Scene 14
CID Bureau
Kulbhushan is called to the bureau for interrogation. On strict interrogation, he confesses being a part of Jakota gang. However, he too confirms that he had no idea about the boss of the gang. He adds that the black book refers to a memory card which has all the details of the gang and if someone gets to it, the gang would be finished.
CID team suggests that the fire must have been put up by Manish that night. He must have run away with the black book in the midst of the fire and must have hidden it somewhere with Sonakshi's costumes or purse. That's the reason why he had to visit the sets again and again in search for the chip, but in vain.
Scene 15
Few masked men search the sets of the film OUATIMD and finally find the chip. Before they could run away, CID team reaches the spot and a shootout follows. Freddy gets slightly injured. One of them was Danny. He too confesses that he has no idea about the leader of the gang. He them receives a message from someone asking about the chip. Daya makes use of the situation and asks the person to meet at the forest to get the chip.
Scene 16
At the forest
CID team hides behind the trees when someone arrives in a car. It was none other than the girl whom we knew as Manish's wife. She confesses that she was a part of the gang and was not Manish's wife. She had visited Manish's house in order to look for the chip but suddenly, the CID team had arrived there. She had no choice but to lie to them and introduce herself as Manish's wife. Daya says that the leader of the gang will be caught very soon and gives the phaansi dialogue for Danny and the girl.
