Abhijeet, Daya, Purvi and Rajat walked into the hospital. They approached the receptionist and asked for Dr. Sakhuja who, according to the medical file, had treated Divya when she was admitted in the hospital.

"Lekin voh to 1 saal pehle hi is hospital chhod ke chale gaye," came the shocking reply.

"Kya? 1 saal pehle! Please hame unki saari details chahiye," Abhijeet requested.

"Lekin aap log kaun hai aur mae kisi doctor ki details kaise du aapko?" the receptionist.

With a definitive air, Daya whipped out his CID identity card.

The receptionist turned white. "C-CID! Sir aap bas do minat rukhiye; mae aapko unki file deti hu."

She returned a few minutes later with a file in her hand. "Yeh lijiye sir. Is me Dr. Sakhuja ki saari details hai. Unke saare patients ke details bhi."

"Purvi, zara file dekho. Ham murdaghar hokar aate hai," Daya said and walked away with Rajat and Abhijeet.

Purvi stood looking through the file. Her face showed a great deal of emotion!

Meanwhile, in the morgue, Daya questioned the in-charge. Most of the attendants were new to the morgue; they worked in other departments earlier.

"Lekin sir, shayad Vishal aapko kuch bata sake. Vo isi department me kaam kar raha hai 3 saalo se," the in-charge said.

Vishal was summoned in.

"Vishal, tum Dr.Sakhuja ko jante ho?" Abhijeet asked.

"Ha sir. Bahut acche se. Unhone to yeh hospital me sirf 3 mahine kaam kiya. Aur in teen mahino mae unke 20 patients ki maut ho gayi," Vishal testified.

"Kya? 20 patients? Vo bhi teen maheeno mein?" Rajat asked shocked.

"Ha sir. Aur do khaas baatein hai un 20 patients ki. 1 to vo sab 10 ya 10 saal se kam umar ke bacche the aur dusra yeh ki un lashon ki post-mortem hone se pehle hi yaha se chori ho gayi!" Vishal said.

"Kya?" asked Abhijeet shocked, " Agar aisi baat hai to aapko police ko notify kar dena chaiye tha na."

"Arre sir. Maine police ko inform karne ki koshish kit hi. Lekin hospital walon ne mujhe mana kar diya. Unhone kaha ke hospital ka naam kharab ho jayega."

"3 laash chori ho gaye. Inko uski nahi padi hai. Inko to apne hospital ke naam ki chinta hai," Daya fumed.

Just then Purvi walked in.

"Sir, she said, "Iss file se kaafi saari baatein pata chali hai. Ek to Dr. Sakhuja ne sirf 3 maheene yaha kaam kiya. Unke 20 patients ki maut ho gayi hai. Aur in sab laashon ka post mortem report bhi nahi hai!"

"Vo isliye Purvi, kyonki voh sab laashe chori ho gayi hai," Abhijeet informed her.

"Kya? Chori ho gayi? Vo bhi 20 laashe?" Purvi asked, shocked.

"Ha Purvi. Accha yeh batao, file me koi phone number, address diya hai?" Daya asked her.

"Ha sir. Lekin phone nahi lag raha hai. Phone number unavailable hai. Mobile company ne bataya hai ke ye number 1 saal pehle return kiya gaya hai."

"Hmm... to chalo us address par chalke dekhte hai. Shayad vahi se kuch paata chal jaye," Rajat said.

The four reached the given address. It was a large housing society and they had some minor difficulty locating the flat. On ringing the bell, they were greeted by an old lady, who was a little taken aback after the introduced themselves.

"Jee kahiye. Kya baat hai? Aap log yaha kaise?"

"Hame Dr. Sakhuja ke bare me puch-tach karni hai. Usne yahi address diya hai apni hospital me," Daya told her.

"Dr. Sakhuja? Yaha to koi Dr. Sakhuja nahi rehte hai. Lekin ha, ham yaha sirf 9 maheeno se reh rahe hai. Ho sakta hai hamse pehle yeh aadmi yaha rehta tha. Mae aapko hamare estate agent ka address deti hu. Shayad voho aapki kkuch madad kar sakte hai."

"Bahut, bahut shukriya aapka ma'am," Purvi thanked the old lady and they all left.

They all drove down to the estate agent's office.

"Ji kahiye, sir. Mae aapki kya madad kar sakta hoon?" he asked politely.

"Dekhiye, ham log CID se hai. Aap hi ne Mrs. Sharma ko Gulmohar Society Flat no. 36 becha tha na?" Rajat asked.

"Haan ji."

"Kya aap bata sakte hai ke unse pehle vaha kaun rehta tha?" Purvi asked.

"Ek minute ma'am... ha... unse pehle ek Dr. Sakhuja vaha kiraye par rehte the," the estate agent said.

"Dr. Sakhuja!" Abhijeet exclaimed, "Kitne dinon se vaha reh rahe the ye Dr. Sakhuja?"

"Sir kareeb kuch 3 maheene."

"Accha tumhare paas uske koi contact details hai?" Daya asked.

"Contact details to nahi hai sir, lekin ha, vo har shukravar yaha aate hai, ye puchne ki uske liye koi property hai Gorai me," the agent stated.

"Aaj to Shukravar hai, sir," Purvi exclaimed.

"Ha, ma'am. Vo saab aaj bhi ayenge."

"Kabhi ayenge?" Rajat inquired.

"Abhi bas thodi der me aate hi honge," the agent said.

"Accha theek hai. Ham yahi pe wait karenge. Use batana mat ki ham aye hai. Ekdum normally behave karo," Daya directed him.

"Ji sir," the agent agreed.

A little while later, a man strode in. The estate agent addressed him as Dr. Sakhuja.

Waiting a few moments, the four strode into the room. The man was totally taken by surprise. He realized that they were from the CID and tries to run. But Daya sir's hand cold on his neck told him his game was up.

An hour and a resounding slap later, he found himself in the Bureau. ACP stared into his eyes.

"Batao! Kyu kiya tumne yeh sab?" he commanded.

"Sir, maine kuch nahi kiya," Dr. Sakhuja sobbed.

"20 laashon ko churakar kehte ho tumne kuch nahi kiya!" the ACP said.

"Maine to ye sab uske kehne par kiya. Aur vo laashein nahi thi. Vo bacche to zinda the!" he revealed.

"Kya? Vo bacche zinda the! Kisne kaha tumhe ye sab karne?" Abhijeet demanded.

"Mujhe nahi pata, sir. Vo sab messages Rajkamal Restaurant ke ek waiter ke paas chodta tha. Mae vaha dinner karne jab bhi jata tha vo waiter mujhe uske messages deta tha. Vahi mujhe paise bhi deta tha."

"Log kitne ghinaune kaam karte hai paison ke liye. Hame pehle us waiter ka naam do aur is Rajkamal Restaurant ka address," the ACP said.

"Ji sir. Waiter ka nam Ravi hai. Rajkamal Restaurant MG Circle Dadar me hai," Dr. Sakhuja said, "Abhi aap log mujhe chhod doge na?"

"Tumhara kya karna hai ye to adaalat hi tay karegi! Tabhi tak jail me sadna," the ACP told him.
