And i am being 😈 telling her that i'll either come as per my wish and complete all work... or will come on time but work only for 8 hours work gets over or not.. i donno 😛

well..that must be frustating her..why don't you tell the same thing directly to ur manager the same thing? 😆

My manager knows this will be my reply.. thats why.. he asked her to convince me.. than he himselves coming and talking to me...

Indirectly he expects me to be the 1st person arriving at office and last person leaving the office.. and i can only cater to one of it..not both

Being first to enter office and first to leave is best policy. 😆

People must learn to work smart. 😛

Even i I would love to do that... but our calls will be post 8 O Clock... so.. if i step in at 11 and leave at 8 my manager will get a heart attack😆

With my manager acting idiotically.. why should i work for more than 9 hours.. i work nearly 12 - 15 hours a day.. only point is that i step into office at 12:30 PM...

and he is cribbing about it... 😡 if he is putting rules.. then i'll also stick to office rules...

as far as i know..the time logged in is time working ..hence WFH possible. is it like that in your place too?

Yes. You can tell him that you'll come on time if you are allowed to leave on time.

You can come home by 7-8, chill out, and then start taking calls from home. You shouldn't set such high expectations. Your company has no right to trespass upon your personal time.
