what a lame excuse for murder

story was good in the beginning but excuse lame

and well in the end the main ppl r missing and rajat is senior so freddie and sachin are calling him sir

i m sure no one is goin to like atleast freddie calling rajat sir

again tomm bullet story

The highlights for me were Daya sir's cool lead in the first half of the investigation, and the brief comic but nice scene between Abhijeet and Dr. Salunkhe in the lab. Purvi was great in her role as well (which was sizeable enough, thank God). The story was rather uneven - the entire one-bullet-two-kills scenario was far-fetched enough to begin with, and I could barely understand why Ashok's character was introduced at all. I thought it was mostly decent despite some poor pacing in the first half, until you get a classic Aahat-flavoured FW-ish ending. D'oh. I guess it could've been worse.

Disappointed to see the others (existing members, I mean) barely in action, and ACP sir totally AWOL. I don't feel I'm gonna get used to the newcomers anytime soon. I didn't even like Rajat's dialogue delivery much today, and apart from the issue of him ordering Fredericks and Sachin around (which I agree is unfortunate), his character almost appeared a bit snobbish at points. I hope the execs look into that, at least.

ok episode not soo good...its ok..

Acp sir is totally missing...but I like Daya sir leading first half...Duo togather in lab...

but i dnt like Rajat dialogue ...

a ok episode...firstly i really didn't enjoyed this plot...2 murdered through the same bullet...quite fed up actually...but daya sir was superb in leading the team👏...the case was made up by taking bits from old epi's and nothing original or new...i don't need ashok's character was at all needed...a toleratable forensic prank...i guess neetu and varun's flashback part was bit stretched and not needed...direction was good and narration ok...not actually impressed by the investigation part ...missed acp sir lot and also missed abhi sir outdoor...rajat was good...i loved his dialogue about the kids😆 and the style with which he delievered...missed vivek-freddy...shreya left no impact and vineet just get into my notice nothing more...

an okayish episode yet again...the best part of the casew as only daya sir...the way he explains the scene like how the murder took place is always 😍...daya vineeth and purvi were there in many scenes out of which in all the scenes it was daya sir who got the evidences like bullet,the jewellery bill,etc...meaning senior will always be senior...👏...rajat was good in his place..but it really feels bad to c sachin call him sir...anyways he calls abhi sir as sir..that is good...the ending was simply stupid...so much like aahat..ppl who dont watch CID regularly and watch this epi will start laughing...the voice was nikhil's(im used to his shouting now) im quite sure but it turned out to be rajat..that was 🤢..the reason was so lame...and same theme in all the three episodes...i hope i dont sleep off in between...

I know about that. I didnt ask about the characters. I asked about the quality of episodes.

The story is a copy from this "real life " incident

"On 23 March 1994, the medical examiner viewed the body of Ronald Opus and concluded that he died from a shotgun wound of the head. The decedent had jumped from the top of a ten-story building intending to commit suicide (he left a note indicating his dispondency). As he fell past the ninth floor, his life was interrupted by a shotgun blast through a window, which killed him instantly. Neither the shooter not the decedent was aware that a safety net had been erected at the eighth floor level to protect some window washers and that Opus would not have been able to complete his suicide anyway because of this.

"Ordinarily," Dr Mills continued, "a person who sets out to commit suicide ultimately succeeds, even though the mechanism might not be what he intended. That Opus was shot on the way to certain death nine stories below probably would not have changed his mode of death from suicide to homicide. But the fact that his suicidal intent would not have been successful caused the medical examiner to feel that he had homicide on his hands. "The room on the ninth floor whence the shotgun blast emanated was occupied by an elderly man and his wife. They were arguing and he was threatening her with the shotgun. He was so upset that, when he pulled the trigger, he completely missed the wife and the pellets went through the window striking Opus.

"When one intends to kill subject A but kills subject B in the attempt, one is guilty of the murder of subject B. When confronted with this charge, the old man and his wife were both adamant that neither knew that the shotgun was loaded. The old man said it was his long-standing habit to threaten his wife with the unloaded shotgun. He had no intention to murder her - therefore, the killing of Opus appeared to be an accident. That is, the gun had been accidently loaded.

"The continuing investigation turned up a witness who saw the old couple's son loading the shotgun approximately six weeks prior to the fatal incident. It transpired that the old lady cut off her son's financial support and the son, knowing the propensity of his father to use the shotgun threateningly, loaded the gun with the expectation that his father would shoot his mother. The case now, becomes one of murder on the part of the son for the death of Ronald Opus.

" There was an exquisite twist. "Further investigation revealed that the son, Ronald Opus, had become increasingly despondent over the failure of his attempt to engineer his mother's murder. This led him to jump off the ten-story building on March 23, only to be killed by a shotgun blast through a ninth story window.

"The medical examiner closed the case as a suicide."
