That is so not great. What does FW think they are doing? Biweekly, triweekly, biweekly, triweekly. They keep playing this game.

i would them rather have a biweekly in which new episodes are shown and maybe on sunday night show episodes starting from episode 1 and name this series as "CID Nostalgia"

@behnur I agree I prefered bi-weekly too you get to see new episodes on fri-sat and then sunday night watch the older ones since it can be hard to find episodes i.e. episode 1

They will end up getting max trp on Sundays...it happened once in early 2010 when they were showing the 1999-2000 episodes the whole day. It was a big blow to Sony and FW..that old episodes were getting more TRP than new ones...I guess that's why they are not showing them now.

Isn't that good atleast there getting TRP's? they do these "khatre" episodes for TRP's why not sit down search properly and do a good episode like they did in 2004/2005

wow i didnt know they showed old episodes again... but shouldnt FW take a hint that if old episodes got a higher TRP it had something in them (A TIGHT STORY, AWESOME INVESTIGATION, GOOD ACTING, AND AMAZING SCREENPLAY) which their new so-called TRP-gaining episodes dont have

Oh come on Behur...you didn't know this? In the late 2009-early 2010, we used to have a marathon of the Asha era cases everyday...we used to have something like 4-5 episodes of CID...that's why if you see some of the videos uploaded by Bento you'll see ads of Powder and Mahi way at the bottom of the screen. 😆

This forum was buzzing with activity...these re-runs made me an active member here on IF...till then I never joined...after I saw them, I couldn't stop myself from speaking out. 😛

i was out of the country from 2003-2011 so had no idea what was happening daily on TV... just used to catch current CID episodes from youtube or some other sites back then

its a different thing that I used to love watching Asha-era cases multiple times but didnt know they were also shown daily on TV 😃

Ok...there was one CID Classics every evening at 7PM...where they used to show some really good episodes...they even created a new title song for those episodes...they got more TRPs than the Friday episodes at one point of time.
