It wasn't a Moustache as such ... it was still a growing one he carried during Dance School Mass Murder time !! I liked it you know 😛

Even though I personally get irritated when I think of Puttilal, but I liked Adi sir's look there .. considering that I saw puttilal after I saw Abhijeet .. it was quite different to see him in that look< his look was very natural and according to the set up.

Exactly! Even I saw Abhijeet first, so I was somehow able to erase the effect of that character, and he did justice to the character by portraying it the way it should have been done.
But personally I prefer not to think about it.

yes exactly,

We have to do movie reviews as a part of our course and after the 'Paan Singh Tomar' film came we had to choose similar movies. I just remembered one movie which was bandit queen, I tried analysing his performance, this man is such a good actor that he actually makes you hate the character from the bottom of your heart, giving the director what he exactly wants the audience to do.. and that's really appreciable of Adi sir the performer. I try to remove my mind from the character and just see the actor, my course of study has helped me in that though at times I fail in achieving that, thanks to the times when the movie comes on film and I hear some comments "Bhavana this guy is your CID guy isn't it ?"

Ya. We are not always able to stay indifferent and keep the character and the actor apart.
But even I try to do it always. Even in bandit queen, the character ''puttilal'' is really gross and negative, but if we observe the actor, his accent, his body language, his expressions all are apt for the character. And thats where the talent of an actor lies.

yeah .. though when it comes to Adi sir's film roles my favourite stays Sameer from Kaalo, I still remember the day i'd gone to see it in the hall, first day first show. There were just 5 of us in the hall sadly yet it felt as if I was watching the exclusive premier of the movie. The hall guy indicated towards the projection room saying that around 5 people are there so the movie can be aired 😆 .. from entry till the last scene Adi sir kept me grasped to the screen, it was for him that I sat through the movie.

Yes and when I was watching it, I found glimpses of Abhijeet in Sameer. The way he is so protective about the girl and the way he plays the saviour.
