OK..I am terribly late already because of stupid exams ..Time has come to share my experience..
It all started somewhere in the middle of last week, when I got a million dollor or maybe priceless SMS from Shag di which read "trio coming 2 Kolkata"...But I had one fear only...
Saturday 22nd October-
My worst fear had come alive..Shag di after trying her best could manage Sunday afternoon slot for our meeting..but I had tuition classes on the very same time..& with exams knocking on thew door, I couldn't afford to miss it..Again since they are on outdoors, it wouldn't be easy for managing fresh dates as outdoors bring in a lot of new problems..
Sunday, 23rd October
I had no choice but to go to my tuiton classes..I missed the meet...😭.. I was traumatised almost..Why all bad things together?? & let me add here this is the most important exam of my entire school life so big deal..I vented out my feelings to Deepika who consoled me & calmed me down, cheered me up...Thank you so much dear..😃
Monday 24th October
I got an SMS from Sree di in the morning that they had the misfortune the previous day of missing the meet due to unavoidable circumstances..So they were going on Monday only, she asked me if I could come..I just didn't know whom to thank~!!! I had almost missed out... Although I felt a bit bad for them that their hopes were dashed the previous day, but that gave me this golden chance.. but i wasnt totally ready actually. i had running nose, & the specs i wore were badly damaged 1 day before. i was wearing an old ugly thick standby one. & i also feared what would happen if i sneeze & cough before aditya sir? anyways i tried my best to handle this problem. now coming straight to the main events.
I met up Sree di outside M G road metro station... It was really a strange feeling..It was the first time I was meeting an IF ian face to face, i had never seen her before.. She took great care of me throughout..But let me share something as soon as I spotted her she recieved a call from Jiya di who advised her "saj dhaj ke jaana"..We walked up to Coffee House...There after a bit of walking around we met Payel di... (of FB).I didn't know her although but she was friendly..But she looked nervous...& the the reason behind it was revealed ..she said " I just saw him getting out of the car when I was waiting alone..OMG.. 6'2"..OMG!!!"
Soon Shag di arrived with her parents.. & within 5 mins Shreela di joined us..
then Shag di & Sree di went inside first & asked us to wait for some time.. but when we actually went in..I saw something which stopped me dead in my tracks..
It was this placed near the stairs...Now the feeling was actually sinking in ...
I never knew I would see something like this..
anyways..we spotted a taken aback sree di upstairs who said that hardly a minute ago, trio, B P singh sir & some crew members had left for the 2nd floor for press conference...!!!😲
We decided to wait in the 1st floor for sometime...we kept standing in one corner & went on chatting merrily & cracking jokes for some time..
Then we got a bit impatient & went u upstairs..
There we saw B P singh sir & Christabelle Ma'm & Sachindra Vats sir discussing a lot of stuff in one corner quite unfazed by the noise shouting & other disturbances... Singh sir gave looked at me many a times, I could feel awe being generated deep within my heart..
I told our gang members to quickly go near the tables pretend we are looking for vacant tables & catch a sight of our heroes..WE actually did so, but it went in w\vain..The crowd had almost covered them ..
But the finally someone from among us said " Daya sir is visible"...then I did the most shameless act of my life..-I actually peeped into the room !!!.. & saw Daya sir... & also Vivek ( I didn't know Vivek was also coming along...OMG !! ).within a couple of mins... I was looking in some other direction, when I heard a very familiar voice..I saw him..Daya sir..
He said "Hi Shagnika!!Ho w are you & your friends?"..Then... then..then..
we shook hands with him & introduced ourselves..I wasn't actually looking forward to shaking my hands because it was covered with sweat..😳..& then the most ironical thing happened..He ordered others to take care of us..Apne hi shehar mein, we got such warm reception from him!!!
he went passed me, I noticed i was barely 2-3 inches above his shoulders..Uff what a gifted height!! he said in a humble tone that he needs to get some make up done..although he ddin't need it apparently.
we went inside, I felt like I have no stomach...& legs...then I saw him..He looked so young & not at all dusky..he was much slimmer than what he looks onscreen..& his face is also somewhat different.especially his nose...aditya sir!We turned back & saw Satam sir..He also looks somewhat different ..But then he recognised Shag di..& greeted her..
soon they got buys with shooting...In the meantime I noticed Vivek waving at shagnika di..
Now I must tell you that our heroes are truly A Class actors..They hardly made a mistake..While others with me were having a nice conversation while watching the shoot, I sat quietly in a corner, failing to concentrate on anything else but the shooting process..i couldnt speak actually. watching them talk & walk, aditya sir saying "daya!" all that looked so unbelievable. Then Daya sir arrived but it wasn't some ordinary makeup he had over his face but something else altogether..I will only tell you it's a Daya centric epi..rest, in aditya sir's style let me say "Aap khud hi dekh lena main aapka mazaa kharab nahi karoongi"
Then after sometime Satam sir came to talk to us..to all our demands he obliged witha sweet smile even though he was truly tired..He asked us if we are from the CID forum to which I said " sir although we are from different parts of the world but CID unites us"..He was like Oh wow.. then we introduced ourselves..( He had a tough time trying to pronounce my name correctly, so then someone form the crew teased me & said " aapna naam change karva le")..he showed us his new Maa kali wallpaper & said he had fallen in love with Kolkata..😃 He lamented that he couldn't learn Bengali... I handed him over Deepika's poem & he appeared overjoyed to get it..People were going mad on seeing them..But i could feel he has a soft corner for our forum..
Then he went off to shoot..They went on continuously with no breaks.they finished their evening meal within 5 mins..😲The crew members are very sweet .. Daya sir & Aditya sir were laughing. i could make out that they are real life buddies.In the mean time Shreela di left. I was there for another half an hour.
I had to leave early with so much of studies waiting to attack me back at home.I was about to leave when Aditya sir & Vivek came..we talked to Vivek..His eye colour is much light actually, not at all black..He was like "thank you thank you thank you". no matter whatever we told him.then he did the sweetest thing.He made sure we meet aditya sir too..I went up to him..taking snaps was very difficult then, they were really tired & crew members were asking us to wait..then I did another shameless act..I had to leave but couldn't go without his autograph, so i dodged & ducked & got in & asked him to sign guiltily..But he flashed a '1000 watt smile & said "Arre haan kyun nahi"...( sorry sir for doing this). I couldn't take my eyes off him..My eyes could have exploded..they were wide open !!!
i was content then finally..I bade them all good bye..I wated to take Daya soir's autograph as well, but it was getting late & i being the youngest of the lot, i had extra pressure to get home fast.
I left the place, with a changed outlook, towards life. PS: for your future meets i would advice you all to take special care to tell them that you are from IF.
