Look... this is totally wrong...You are not the reason for people not feeling comfy here...

1. Yes... Rules make people uncomfy... when

a) they are on other forums too where there are no restrictions

b) they are new to this forum

we cannot resolve point a, but point b gets resolved automatically... Like many people here used to think that there are so many rules here... but later they realized that rules is what makes this place comfy...

2. The GD thread sometimes looks like a chit chat thread... Yeah.. we have put the rule that we should post hi's and hello's there...but the discussion going on there is sometimes confined to 3 or 4 people... the problem is

a) others aren't able to involve in it... or

b) even if they try to get involved..

i) they dont get the context or

ii) may be arent told the context...

and thus feel ignored...

So this is again no where related to you... Well... Initially i used to feel ignored in GD thread.. because i used to come online just during night time.. and that on that i hardly knew the people who were discussing... but since i have started spending more time here... got used to talking to people... and knowing them better... slowly i got into GD thread too... dont feel ignored there... as i can most of the time make out the context of discussion.

I am not saying Neeme is wrong... She is right in her place... but only spending more time... and posting more...and not comparing this place to some place where there are not rules like the ones here will make her feel comy here...

One will not feel ignored on GD thread if one makes newer friends and spreads ones wings. But yes some sort o a ruls should be there on GD thread

Like people celebrating

If someone posts some good news 50 people posts congrats

they can just hit like na

this will reduce the speed of GD thread

Then sometimes people right casual out of contect things this should be avoided

Just imagine...people who were reading yesterday's posts in GD thread between Vis, Nanda and Bhavs... will hardly understand that it was something related to the IF re-runs... and the PM's which went across regarding that...

Some rules should be made

It was not about reruns it was about a misunderstanding

But why were you having a fight...where did it start from ...no one knows...

I used an old PM which I had sent to Vis to send it to all ( My mistake) I deleted our convo and wrote the new message, but the convo didnt get deleted fully and went to all these people. Thankfully it didnt contain any deadly information

So this is how it started. We were just sorting it out, and I was saying sorry publiclly

My hissa of fight started with Vis giving my example for the framed murder thing ...whuch I disagreed with ... but before someone could understand I was angry woh baat kahiin aur hi pahunch gayi 😆 .. hadd hai ... mujhe kabhi theek se gussa nahi hone dete 😆 😆

Anyways since Neeme quoted my post of IF being friendly and said she disagreed ... let me answer.

Firstly why I said that ... now I said that bcaue I've felt that genuinely ... it's not that because I've been here for quite sometime that makes me feel that ... I fel that since day 1 ... I remember when I came as a newbie ... some pmed me a welcome to the forums message ... it didn't take me more than 5 minutes to involve myself properly in the discussions. I've found the atmosphere ... very opinion friendly ... yes disagreements are there ... but then those are raised and discussed upon and solved asap. One gets a chance to say freely what they want to ... people at times go OT ... but then it's told by not just the viewbie but by other members too that they're going ot .. and suggest them not to ... that's the freedom everyone gets here ... this forum is not 'ruled' by a viewbie ... who would come beech beech mein to check who's reported what post ... or kiska WL badhaana hai bas. Even the viewbie participates in CID discussions ... the main thing is about CID ... I've never found a place so friendly ... where I tell about something related to CID and my opinion is heard,valued and respected !!

This was the reason why I've always felt IF is very very friendly.

Coming G thread ... well atleast I try and involve in the majority of discussion happening here ... if one feels out of place ... come on Adi-Daya thread,Come on Re run thread ... I'm sure one can never feel out of place in those threads as what's discussed there is what brings you to IF 😊

But I agree with you, we do not have a viewbie who pops in once in a while we have an active viewbie who participates, encourages and appreciates
