All we do nowadays on the CID forum is nag, nag, nag, complain, complain, complain. Let's look at some of the bright sides of CID.

The duo friendship. Vivek-Freddy dosti. The love between the cast and crew. I mean, after 14 years of working together, many of the actors must consider each other family. Don't you think?
I've opened this thread, and even though I'm calling it a DOTW thread, it isn't only that. It's my attempt to bring out the good side of CID because whether you know it or not, I'm sure that we all agree that CID is not all bad or else we wouldn't be watching it.
So let's discuss the pros of CID. Let's discuss the reasons you watch CID. And let's not talk anything negative in this thread.

Well I started watching CID when I was kid.

Now it is a part of my life

What I like about it is the realness of the charecters

They make an impact because they are like the common men

Meny detective serials came and went but CID stayed because of this unique feature

I agree with you. I remember the first episode I watched of CID. I was 12 years old, flipping through the channels on a summer day and I come on a show. It was a Kapil Dev show. At that time I didn't know the name, but I enjoyed the episode and I had to watch more. So again I watched it the next week, and the next week, and the next week, and so on, until I was hooked. And the main reason I watched it was because of the detectives. I always enjoyed crime thrillers and this was a thriller with a human touch. That's what got me hooked and still has me hooked.

Thriller with a human touch is the correct definition

Other shows try to glamarise crime and detection but CID never did that and I hope they continue that way

In fact, FW launched another show as well called Surya and while it was good I thought it was too glamorized. The actors didn't always look like detectives, and especially the girls sometimes dressed as if they were models. In CID, the actors look like detectives and act like them as well.

I watched CID for the first time at the end of March 2010 and the first episode was ACP Praduman giraftar. I watched Daya sir and then changed the channel after sometime. My classmates told me about Daya sir when I enquired and they only told me to watch CID. I started watching it and became a very big fan of Daya sir, CID became an inseparable part of my life and slowly I started adoring Abhijeet sir and ACP sir too. I can't imagine my life without CID. I like this show because all the actors are great and it is a family show. I can't describe much on mobile.
