What I liked a lot about The case of the missing father was the fact that every officer uses his/her brains to solve the case all because they hold the warm security that parents give in high esteem.
They all understand the desperate bid the boy has done to search his father out. And like true children of that age has no idea of any risk involved.
We can wax eloquently about childhood, innocense, listening to the heart, exploitation and many more aspects of childhood. But, the fact that a group of officers took a kid under their wing , got emotionally involved and solved it inspite of all the heart break is a lesson to all of us. I did read of such incidents that the police have done in the past in the newspapers where they have spent money from their pockets thousands in total to keep faith and belief in human goodness intact. This episode is a salute to all such police officers in this country ⭐️who never even get a mention anywhere for the good deeds they do. The bigwigs of the Indian IT sector or corporate sector hardly do 1/10th of such selfless work and they are made into lead headlines.😔
This episode also highlights an important aspect - a jail person telling that his memory is not reliable as he has been in jail for long. These days everyone has a memory better than any computer. Oh well, humans did invent the computer , so the action is acceptable😉 these days.
Astonish you have mentioned all these points in your concise wu. 👏
In all the Missing Father case also tells people you can always accept that things do go wrong in life but no harm in accepting that and going back to make a fresh start in life (the ending where the father takes his son back to the village)
Yes, I do wish such humane cases were done these days once in a way to keep us all firmly anchored to sensibilities in life.😊
