Case of Giant wheel was a bit too harsh. At least ACP could have got Salunkhe to chek if he really has vertigo before taking him up the Giant Wheel by force.

In addition, of course sr insp abhijeet... yeah viz, i agree! they cud hv verified... i found it too much...this is what my dad a policeman says- it seems at times they glorify police superiority and aggression... anyway am going ott. this is cid forums and am too opiniated on certain things...

No issues, this is still a discussion on ACP's reaction in Father's revenge. Not really OT.

If Daya had shot Sattu anywhere else, say the leg, he would still have been fit enough to kill Abhijeet. It was dark and Sattu's legs were not visible to Daya. He just had the light from the torch which was in Sattu's hand. What could Daya could see in that limited light? Just Abhijeet on the ground, the gun in SAttu's hand pointed towards Abhijeet. It's was reflex action.

agreed. and ad not this father wronged the man... and abhi's rage was was the only way he actually vents out his frustration that because of the criminal and the ppl who helpe him that daya got into that situation... besides the child of course... but i havent understood one thing in this case. the hindi was fast for me and i cudnt digest some scenes. who was the father in father's revenge? what revenge? why was this man's child kidnapped?

The father is Sattu. It is his revenge because Arif Zakaria was a witness in a hit and run accident involving Sattu's son. Sattu's son was jailed. So, Sattu wanted Arif Zakaria to experience the same pain.

and acp's question- if he hadnt shot so?- was really stupid. he shud have sense being acp that anythng unexpected cn hapn!

If he hadn't shot - what happens is that sometimes, people who have not handled a gun before may not get the courage to shoot. ACP was considering that possibility too. Maybe he thought Abhijeet would have been able to talk to Sattu and stopped him from shooting. Abhijeet was anyway saying 'yahan aur bhi log hain' and all...maybe Sattu would have wanted to just escape with the money without shooting at Abhijeet. No one would want to get a phaansi for killing a CID officer isn't it? Abhijeet might have been able to put sense into the guy's head...?????

Or at the most Sattu would have had a bad aim and just shot at Abhiijeet's leg and they could have managed to get information about the boy.

ACP was also under stress...he wanted to get information about the boy, you know.

No. It was a true statement. Still Sattu lost his son because Arif Zakaria was the witnesss. Hence taking revenge.

well agreed. but this calm acp was a bit over reactionary here...they did get a clue anyway without sattu's help. y, wasnt he equally stressed in kidnapped girl? ya daksh didnt obey him, but he didnt over react. he just scolded him. here toh he just carried on n on n on. in mysterious matrimonials the limping man daya was following suddenly fled and was shot. initially it was thought daya had shot him. but acp didnt over react. even under stress he who kept his officers calm actually over reacted here.
