Aditya Srivastav better known as Senior inspector Abhijeet from "CID" shown off some mean moves on the number "Mujhse Shaadi Karogi" during the CID Gallantry Awards 2011 ". His jig had the audience up on their feet and cheering hard for him. Then came the time to honour the brave ones.Bollywood celebrities like Ajay Devgan,Shraddha Das,Omi Vaidya,Madhur Bhandarkar were present to honour those who had displayed great courage . Something more about Dil Toh Bachcha was written and about performance by Sriram and other II5 ones

However,the highlight of the evening was the musical medley performed by the much loved "CID" team.The idea behind the CID gallantry awards is to recognise,felicitate and honour the feats of the people who have performed selfless acts of bravery for the benefit of their fellow citizens. The entire team including Aditya,Shivaji Satam (ACP Pradyuman),Dayanand Shetty (Daya),Dinesh Phadnis (Fedrick) and Narendra Gupta ( Dr. Salunkhe) were present at the ceremony.
