Q) At which point of time do you think Forensic scenes were The Best...and why..?

Forensics were good during the good old days when there was a 'bald Salunkhe' and during 2006-07 when we had Niyati.

The old Salunkhe was intelligent. I remember one case where Salunkhe was trying to judge the height of a shooter by going to the crime spot and tying strings from the point of shooting to the victim's body(don't remember the case of air date).
Of late forensics has changed into nauseating human body dissections and chemical experiments, clubbed with irritating conversations between the 3 people in the lab and Salunkhe's unnecessary arguments with ACP.
Dr Niyati was very smart too. She used technology very well. She had a very 'professional' body language and had a lovely sense of humour. She was fun to watch. I really miss her now.
Q) Do you think Our team is affected by This Forensic Drama.. How..?
Yes, the forensic scenes are dragging and boring and have the same repeated dialogues. There's nothing new. The Abhijeet-Tarika track became very irritating at one stage. (I am not against our cops having a girl in their life, but it shouldn't be at the cost of ruining their character) Thankfully that track has been toned down and Abhijeet is behaving himself in the lab.
The ACP-Salunkhe track should also be toned down. Why are they always shouting at each other? Can they not be polite and have some light conversation at least once? Why are the cops and Forensic doctors always at loggerheads? Is someone listening?

Q) Which scenes Annoy you the Most ?
1. The Green box. How can any doctor on earth view the internal organs of a human body inside a dark box? There's no light inside. It makes no sense.
2. Salunkhe-Sonali track. They hardly look like classmates. It's ridiculous.
3. Tarika's less-than-satisfactory acting and wardrobe. She needs to improve, but I've lost hopes.
4. ACP and Salunkhe shouting at each other. They are both elderly, dignified people and were once good friends. It's high time they behave politely with each other. We feel better to see some 'friendship' and 'camaraderie' and not constant bickering.

Q) What do you think... How is Forensic showed nowadays in CID?..and how should it be actually shown in a detective series Like CID..!
Forensics is shown as only chemistry and human body dissection. I think CID needs to show that forensic science is much more than that. It includes all other branches of science too. It would have been better if the 3 people were from different fields and depending on the case one of their expertise could be used.

Q) If you were To Choose the Forensic Team... Who all would you keep in it....(Consider all the previous Forensic docs)
I would keep Niyati and the bald Salunkhe, but not both of them in a single case. I don't want them to start fighting with each other. I would make Salunkhe expert in dissections and Niyati an expert in face construction and other technology-related fields and depending on the case have only one of them in every episode.

Q) At which point of time do you think Forensic scenes were The Best...and why..?

the first forensics was the best forensic...!! where emphasis was given on each possible thing.....when Salunkhe worked best....Alone..! In Fact Forensics was always good before The Hairy salunkhe with his "Assistant" entered..!

Q) Do you think Our team is affected by This Forensic Drama.. How..?

definitely.... apart from the Abhi-Tarika Track (thankfully stopped).... our Freddy always gets to show himself as a fool In the lab.....ACP and Salunkhe small arguements were Good.. but now it has changed to Intense Shouting.. which just creates an unpleasant atmosphere........

Q) Which scenes annoy you the most ?

apart form the ones mentioned above... its really annoying for some people to see Salunkhe operating on the body...and one can clearly see the internal Body parts...!! and thats disgusting sometimes specially when you sit down with your dinner to enjoy it while watching CID...!!

Q) What do you think... How is Forensic showed nowadays in CID?..and how should it be actually shown in a detective series Like CID..!

Forensic nowadays is limited to opening bodies , chemical tests...fingerprint matching.....!!!! earlier fornesic was a delight to watch...!!!

Forensic basically acts as a helping hand to the Case. the Case should never be whollyDependant on it..!! they should show more than what they do... perfect example..- OLD CID FORENSIC...!

Q) If you were To Choose the Forensic Team... Who all would you keep in it....(Consider all the previous Forensic docs)

well I perosnally Liked Niyati's era ....She was friendly ,determined...and she created good humour ......!! and of course Our old salunkhe.. actually Salunkhe (without his two "Mateys")...! 😛

Q) At which point of time do you think Forensic scenes were The Best...and why..?
No doubt in initials days Forensic scenes were the best. I used to wait for Forensic scenes desperately unlike these days forensic. Mainly I used to eat dinner CID but this year's forensic forced me to take my dinner by 9 on Fridays and Saturdays esp.
During Niyati time also forensic was very good. At that tiem forensic just doesn't mean cutting of bodies only it was beyond that.

Q) Do you think Our team is affected by This Forensic Drama.. How..? Definitely. There has to be light moments in show but that doesn't mean every light moment in Lab only and make lab comedy circus stage. Unnecessary fighting's and flirting dragged forensic scenes. This mainly killed the time forensic lab which can be utilized to show some logics which is core of investigation.

Q) Which scenes annoy you the most ? When there is just only cutting of bodies only along with fighting and flirting. And peak was when Salunke was hiding below that dead body.

Q) What do you think... How is Forensic showed nowadays in CID?..and how should it be actually shown in a detective series Like CID..!
Forensic is core of detective series. If it doesn't handle properly it can be worst part of the detective show. It is main part which leads to logics and open gate for investigation team to criminals. But I feel for Good Forensic criminals also need to be smart taking test of Forensic science.

Q) If you were To Choose the Forensic Team... Who all would you keep in it....(Consider all the previous Forensic docs)
if I were to choose Forensic team I would choose such that all are expert in different areas and it should not only be shown but implemented also. For one type of case that forensic doctor should lead charge and for other type of case other. this brings variety as well ass realistic feel also. Salunke and Niyati were the best forensic doctor till now no doubt on that.

Q) At which point of time do you think Forensic scenes were The Best...and why..?

I'd say the forensic scenes were best during the older Golden Age days, naturally. They had everything the forensic scenes today do not - proper scientific techniques being explained and their use being clearly shown, a sense of deep mystery and excitement, thrilling discussions between our team and the doctors, some great (but proper and apt) light-hearted moments too. I was always eagerly looking forward to the forensic scenes and they were a major reason for me developing interest in medical science and pursuing it as a career. Even today, I can hear Dr. Salunkhe's voice in my head as I read about those techniques he once explained, now in my textbook. There was no unnecessary blood or gore shown and the design of the lab and the techniques used seemed quite authentic. Nowadays, far from eagerly anticipating the scenes, I've got to sit with my fingers crossed hoping that the shouting matches don't begin again.

Q) Do you think Our team is affected by This Forensic Drama.. How..?

Affected in a really negative way, I think. The forensic scenes can be safely renamed "Melodrama" scenes for all they do these days. For the past couple of years, I'd say that the Forensic lab has been the place which somehow makes our characters most unlike themselves, for some reason (aka, the writers who got the idea). What happens to the calm, fast-thinking and co-operative ACP sir we all have loved from the beginning? We know ACP sir and Dr. Salunkhe have been on hot-and-cold terms in the older episodes too, but the fact that they were colleagues and always respect each other had always been emphasized. Now we have them fighting like some juvenile bucks over trivial (often outright stupid) issues. Even worse, sometimes the rest of the team joins in. We saw the deep care Dr. Salunkhe had for the team throughout the previous episodes (example, the Healthy Patients episode), so why are they shown butting heads over pointless issues now? Although thankfully reduced these days, the Abhijeet-Tarika flirting and Fredericks' buffoonery made the forensic scenes even harder to watch in the past recent episodes. And often in the presence of gory corpses, suspects or relatives of the victim! These things are highly contrary to the true nature of our team.

Q) Which scenes annoy you the most ?

I'd put the aforementioned arguments in the lab on the top of the list. Then come the flirting or corny jokes, ridiculous antics (the Maut Ka Aashirwaad episode's scene 🤢 ), unnecessary show of blood and gore (I admit these don't bother me that much, but it's certainly not something pleasant to watch when you're in the mood for relaxation, or have just eaten something!), and some pretty un-scientific and absurd stuff being shown (multi-coloured chemicals boiling for no reason, inventing fictional medicines or poisons, laying out decaying bodies dry and in contact with air, etc.).

Q) What do you think... How is Forensic showed nowadays in CID?..and how should it be actually shown in a detective series Like CID..!

I think the forensic scenes are an integral part of CID and should be treated with utmost care and precision. Criminals, especially professionals, are smart and often very difficult to catch because they're experts at destroying evidence and clues. But like the motto of CID goes, every criminal makes mistakes, and often these smallest of small clues come to light only through forensic science. The mystery, thrill and interesting scientific information shown make forensic scenes highly appealing to the audience and are like sone pe suhaga in a good episode. And important for this is what we had in the Golden Age forensic scenes - proper scientific techniques being shown, a well-written script incorporating all these elements of thrill and suspense, and a proper camaraderie between our CID team and the doctors. There's nothing wrong with showing a healthy sense of rivalry - I personally love how ACP sir proves Dr. Salunkhe wrong in the Impossible Murder case - but that doesn't mean reducing them to absurd arguments over little issues. The spirit of understanding and respect among the team is very important. Antics, flirting etc. don't have their place in the lab either.

Q) If you were To Choose the Forensic Team... Who all would you keep in it....(Consider all the previous Forensic docs)

Showing a proper specialization and ranking among the doctors is realistic and would be apt for the lab. Dr. Salunkhe has always been my favourite and I would definitely like him to lead in the investigation, and Dr. Niyati (my second fav) could be the second doctor in the team. I think Dr. Salunkhe's knowledge of poisons is remarkable and the same goes for Dr. Niyati and tricky mysteries regarding corpses, so work distribution among them in this way would be nice. Having an assistant in the lab is also a good point, though I'd personally prefer the girl who plays Dr. Nyla over Dr. Tarika. Bringing in an "expert" for rarer cases would be nice and an interesting recurring plot item, for that I'd like Dr. Wagle to come in.

Q) At which point of time do you think Forensic scenes were The Best...and why..?
Ans = Point of time, where Forensic scenes were BEST - whenever Forensic Doctors use to show their forensic skills/intelligence during the investigation process .. 😊 such scenes would grab viewers attention in particular..
unfortunately, in recent times, we didn't get to see any such episode to remember as the BEST FORENSIC EPISODE

Q) Do you think Our team is affected by This Forensic Drama.. How..?
Ans= YES...specially during promoting any ad or other shows in an episode... we can always notice even few officers join in... 😔 that makes the scene boring for a moment..🥱

Q) Which scenes annoy you the most ?
Ans= The promotion scenes interrupting in between the episode😡
Q) What do you think... How is Forensic showed nowadays in CID?..and how should it be actually shown in a detective series Like CID..!
Ans = now-a-days, only we get to see only unnecessary bud - bud ... bug - bug sound , gaubbar analysis and burnt or mutilated corpses lying in the lab 🤢
Instead of these just - to - drag scenes... wish to see some quality worth discussions between the forensic experts and CID officers.. 😊

Q) If you were To Choose the Forensic Team... Who all would you keep in it....(Consider all the previous Forensic docs)
Ans = Dr.Salunke, Dr. Niyati.. and Dr.Tarika assisting the two😉

Q) At which point of time do you think Forensic scenes were The Best...and why..?

I think that the forensics were the best about the time when the the first forensic doc was there....the one who had a er, pardon me, but a rather Col. Sanders-style beard😆 till about the time Dr. Niyati was there/ the early Dr. Salunkhe with the hair era, because the forensics were to the point, practical and coherent, and they gave a valid explanation to explain why their hypotheses are right, and you didn't always hear the bubbling of chemicals all the time. Also most of the time, forensics was not chemically-based, there were some theoretics involved too, like during The Case Of The Dying Statement, the way Dr. Salunkhe used the model to explain whether the girl was murdered or killed, there was no sign of any chemicals. This trend has clearly changed and everything has become chemo-centric. And if it's not chemistry, the focus is on looking upon the gory details of the human body. 🤢 Do I even need to mention the ego fights between Salunkhe and ACP? That clearly did not exist before. They were united in solving the crime and there was no clashes as such, or fights in the forensics lab unless of course, it involved Dr. Salunkhe or some other forensics doctor being framed or playing a part in the crime. Also, there was just one forensics doctor who finished all of the work, now even though there are 3, they don't do a fast and efficient job. Whenever the CID team comes into the lab, Dr. Salunkhe says "Pata laga rahe hain", whereas previously it used to "Boss, maine toh pehle se hi do kadam aage soochkar yeh test kar liya hain". Yes, the quality of forensics has definitely degraded over time.

Q) Do you think Our team is affected by This Forensic Drama.. How..?

Yes, as I said, they don't get the work done, wastes the team's time and what more, ACP gets angry and starts shouting, leading to a fight, a sarcastic one at that. It's ridiculous really.

Q) Which scenes annoy you the most ?

The scene in which they zoom in on the organs of the body and all🤢 The irony is that despite there being a box around the body, they zoom in on the hidious stuff to gross youn out. Of course, the Salunkhe-ACP tiffs, quite recently the poetic narration.

Q) What do you think... How is Forensic showed nowadays in CID?(I answered this in the 1st question above)..and how should it be actually shown in a detective series Like CID..!
As I said, forensics in a show like CID, there should be a sense of professionalism, and have apt doctors who finish their work on time, and even anticipate and look at something from all the POV's, and if the case needs more analysis, they should look into it without being asked for it all the time. They should also use some common sense and not rip into a body when given the opportunity.

Q) If you were To Choose the Forensic Team... Who all would you keep in it....(Consider all the previous Forensic docs)
The old Dr.Salunkhe, Dr. Niyati, Dr. Wagle.

I was Infact wondering...Usually people Increase the Number of people to Increase the efficeincy of the work..!! Over here its the opposite.. with the increase in number of Docs... The efficiency plus the impact of Forensic scenes kept decreasing..!!!

Conclusion : No. of Docs is inversely Proportional to the Efficiency of Forensic...!! 😛
