I loved your post, would like to disagree on this very point. If you notice in CSI:NY, a couple of people in the forensics are married and there are often certain scenes displaying their er, love and affection, shall we say?😆 Anyways, the few episodes preceding their marriage also focused on their love story and how they got married and all that, but at the very end, after they solved the murder. I wouldn't mind Abhijit or Daya falling in love with someone, but can FW please first concentrate on the main issue, which is the crime, and then these extraneous things?

i said they dont flirt ( flirting is more boring and childish than love scenes), I am never against love that is part of investigation, and the continuation, they will not promote soaps....thats the main point yaar.

The Billion Dollar question is how many serials or movies get promoted in CSI . Answer is Zero. Those serials are meant for the investigations and the casts and about their lives. But here, its almost impossible. Looks like CID is meant for promoting other shows. Their preferences is the show off first then come to investigations.
When there is a show, there must be some characters. And there must be something around this characters. Its almost included in the show with default. So that things are easily allowed in the show. But in CID they forced to put something in it .
Technically there is lots of differences between CSI and CID.
