@pushpop.chat Welcome to the forum. I really appreciate that you respected the forum took time to read through it, and post in the relevant thread instead of opening a new thread. Will be glad if can introduce yourself here
I agree with the first two points but I don't think CID will ever have a shady inspector and looking at the acting standard of Sachin does not look like he can carry of a shady character IMO

Sorry if somebody already mentioned it or if I am missing something. Tell me, have any of you ever seen anybody with a face left side and right side looking diffeent? There may be a patch on an eye, bruise or cut on one cheek, or once in amillion times, different colour eyeballs. But other than these anomalies, how can a witness describe only longitudinal half of a face? And if he does, (being injured and etc etc.) , is it so difficult and creditable to draw the other half ?

@auntyno1
I think the dying witness had very less time with him. He must have gone blind with the left eye 😃 at that time so wasnt able to picture the other half.

@auntyno1 I agree, but I was just glad that this was real sketch, else there have been occasions where photographs are passed off as sketches.

Really? At the moment I can't remember any , but with the brainless massh that is sometimes dished out, I find it quite quite possible to have happened many times..

This happened in the recent ones the Bhutiya Ladki Ka Raaz (aired 18-Sep-2010). Attention to detail has become history.

If you have the one half of picture, you can draw the second half with ease. Because One side of face is matched to other side almost 99%. So you don't have to guess or think of that other hide side of face. The blueprint is already with you.
It's very easy. Just try it.

sorry for going OT but as discussion is going on so i will just explain few things. how witness saw longitudinal half of the face was explained by himself that he was opening the door when he saw that person. secondly usually we dont come across any asymmetry in face, but there are many medical conditions in which there is obvious facial asymmetry like in facial nerve palsy(nerve injury) and craniosynostosis(congenital) etc. and the most interesting fact is that most of the person have facial asymetry. if u want to get an idea just take a mirror image of half of ur own face, and then join it with the original one and see the the difference😊
warning : do this at ur own risk as outcome is quite funny at times😆

hello guys, I guess i m posting my comment after a long time. What to do, I was so busy as guests had arrived. This epi was a good one if not best. I think everyone is being too strict on the epi, if we want our CID to continue then we shd encourage them and not discourage them. They will improve thru encouragement n not by too much criticism. as for the epi it was good with some light moments like ACP saving Kajal and Freddy and Sachin scene where he addresses him as tum and the chakna bit reminded me of the old n gold days of CID. the clues may be simple n too easy but the case was not so bad, i think it shd be spared. 😊

I hated it when someone shot the witness in his own house in the presence of CID offcers, and every CID officer ran after the assassin leaving the poor guy injured and alone.... On the top of it, they even could not even find the gunman....🤢
