Well not really. Case Of The Killer Hospital (aired 1-Jun-2007) is a complete remake of the same story which I think is better than the original for some reason cause I never understood the connection of the case with the title. Its the same story, just like Gavah Bana Shikar (aired 11-Jan-2008) is a remake of THE CASE OF THE UNKNOWN CONSPIRACY (aired 1-Oct-2004 & 8-Oct-2004).

If you ask me its not worth the time.

the original case was nice. But if you have seen killer hospital thats enough, the sandepetta one.

I remember the demo by acp and Abhijit on murder witnessed by Daya instead of Vivek in original. Average case.

There is another episode of which I am unable to recollect the name or anything else - just a scene in the beginning. A lady goes to a deserted place where a film shooting is supposed to take place. And then she asks someone for a lift...very hazy after that. I think the bike guy dies....can anyone recollect any scene like this?

And another episode. A laash is found somewhere and CID team finds that he had been poisoned in his house. I clearly remember an image of Daya searching through the contents of the dustbin in his house and finding a half-eaten apple. What's this one?

Personally I am not very fond of THE CASE OF SERIAL KILLINGS, I don't remember seeing Daya Sir in that one (I could be wrong). It was mainly resolved by Viren and Asha. And it has the now obsolete technology THE PAGER 😃.

I thought it was a great episode. It has already been uploaded. The guy on the bike is the murderer. He calls Viren saying that "Hello CID, ek khoon ho gaya hain ek ladki ka Shastri Nagar main".He then describes the girl. Viren directs everyone in the bureau with a lift of his finger and everyone disperses immediately(Asha, Daya, Fredericks and Sudhakar). Viren says: "Yeh kab hua?" The guy asks the girl(who was still alive with him at that time) and she says it's 12:10 pm. The guy then tells Viren "Ji, sawwa barah baje hua hain yeh(12:15 pm)" Viren says"Yeh kaise ho sakta hain, abhi toh 12:15 baje hi nahi hain". The guys suddenly laughs and says "Samjhe nahi, inspector, main hi hoon woh khooni! Hahahaha...."

I thought it was a great case, and it has a lot of Daya in it too, although I liked the case more.
