hmmm I think the best Phase was between Mid-1999 to 2004 [till Asha left]. But if I have to pick a year it will be 2002.

Definitely 2002....saw the All case list and found that in 2002, they were churning out classic after classic every week. The trio and the chemistry between them was well established by then. Asha was there too. Daya and Abhijeet had moved on from the 'sir' terms. Stories were interesting....many episodes had some light moments. Salunkhe was in his best form. It was a very good year for CID.

So true, what a lovely year that was, one classic followed up with another. Gosh I miss those times so much. Why do things always need to change for the worse.

I went thru the case lists and tried to recollect those ( I haven't watch all the cases). As far as I can remember those I watched, I feel 2000-2003 was the golden era of CID. But I have to choose just one year, so my vote is for 2002.

I'd go with 2002 too. Definitely the period of top quality cases.

For me its difficult to choose between 2000,2002 & 2004 because all these 3 years have some really nice cases but I'll go for 2000,I really love the cases during this time be it Invisible Killer,Vanishing Lady,Accused Officer,Blind Witness,Helpless Killer,Stolen Car etc.

i agree with prabha di
i am a recent viewer but while going through yhe old episodes i find them more interesting
though there are a few interesting cases in 2007

Definitely 2002... I saw cases that aired in 2002 during it's re-runs... @ yuvraj.. 2010 ko choose karne ke liye poll ko thda badalna padega.. It should be 'which was the most worse or struggling year of CID'
