Well CID deterioration is a known concept. its been so long we are discussing it. We know where the show is lacking, though we know everything we are unable to do anything. The show is like a part of our lives and it became the part of our lives due to the immortal characters and strong cases, the small moments amongst the members never let loose the importance of the case while really touched our hearts. The moments went weaker with time and now its time we are unable to witness such moments. however the most mourning part is the mysteries, good stories, every thing is lacking now. We are happy with an average episode, yet we know this is not the real CID standard we expect much more. We run of options like older episodes or discussing some damn good moments. Yet personally speaking CID is the only show I watch it is a stress buster for me and bad episodes are really big problem for me. I seriously try to be optimistic and expect a great episode next Friday. I hope fireworks listens to our plea, either eradicate this bi-weekly format or give us 1 case in two case, we want the old standard back Please give it to us.

You bet yaar and then they say that the show is for the fans and audience. If it is why aren't we heard. I don't see anything on TV except CID and CID Re-Runs. Its like the fan in me is craving for quality entertainment. Today we have 100 channels and nothing to watch. O God how much I miss the good old DD days yaar.

My first episode of CID was IMPOSSIBLE MUDER ( mentioned this many a times😆 )....that was the episode that won me over... most importantly ABHIJEET won me over...😳...
I started watching the show...one reason was Abhijeet and the other reason was - I LOVE DETECTIVE SHOWS. The cases were really good...⭐️..

slowly the show started to change..could easily feel the difference now😕..but still it was fun... the casual conversations..superb character development etc etc... 2006 phase was also a worthwhile phase for CID.👏

Then 2008-2009 came .... CID was now a little low...slowly changing, but not much improvement. nice cases were RARE😔. but duo was still together. we still had some things to cherish for.😊

2010 came. it started off with my BOND with IF. this again filled enthusiasm in me about the show and then came episodes like KHOON KI HOLI and Sr.Inspector Abhijeet ( which i like watching inspite of flaws) however, again the growth slowed down..rather started detiorating😃
and we came up with signature camps etc etc....some here and there betterment but veryyy inconsistent.

To add to the worries, came BI-WEEKLY.It snatched away the biggest asset of the show now. Abhi-daya jodi..😭😭... couldnt take this in... Now the reason for watching the show was just one - THE FACT THAT CID HAS BECOME A PART OF MY LIFE.never ever did i get the thought of leaving the show. somehow, i was unable to ever imagine how would life be without CID. 😲

😳😳I really cant exactly explain the reason for watching the show in different eras. for me it was a magic that was spelled on me the first time..and i am still not out of it. It was just Abhijeet or was it just the characters or was it just the cases...i dont know. Now since the show has lost almost a lot of its charm, yet i cant think of bunking an episode intentionally ! May be because, as Prabha di said- just to watch TRIO's faces...or may be because i am crazzy.. but yes i love CID.😃

I know how much these people work for the show. may be the creatives hard work doesnt always lead to success... but for me the cast matters the most ...and the way they work for the show makes me learn a lot.😳 i know, if we stop watching the show the sufferers at the end of the day would be the actors. i can never imagine to hurt them in anyway. someone's words are still loud and clear in my ears!!! How can i forget....😉

😊When we love something, we may be happy for its success, we may be sad for its failure, we may be angry on its mistakes, but we can never leave that thing. same with CID.... be it for any reason...CID is something thats an inevitable part of my life now. Cant leave it... i can be happy to see good episdoes, sad to see bad ones, angry on FW or others for their mistakes, but cant throw it out of my life ever.

I know thats the fact that FW and SONY will always use for their benefit. But i would rather try to do something instead of just getting dissappointed and angry and finally stop watching it. I think all of you feel so.... this is the reason, we saw something like OUR SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN and people's enthusiasm about it.. i am proud to be in contact with people like u guys.🤗... who like me...tries to take a step for the show unlike mayy others who just sit and critisise for few days and then stop watching the show. 😡

I am proud to be called a CIDian...A LOYAL CID fan !!!

Same here. The cast matters to me the most. I just love them too much and when I say TRIO is like my extended family, they are not just words, I mean it. Just to meet them week after week, I sit in front of my TV set every weekend at 10 PM. The reason has reduced to staring at the TRIO's faces but I am thankful that the those faces are still around for me to see and hope that they will always be around.

God alone knows if things will ever change, I just don't feel the enthusiasm from the makers anymore, they seem to have given up that it will ever be what it was. IMO they are working hard but without passion, enthusiasm, and the fire within to excel. But I am TRIO's loyal audience and I will always be there every week at 10 PM.

Shagnika...you heard it directly. I only heard it from you, but I could almost hear the words. I admire them all so much that for the actors' sake I will keep watching them. I am used to seeing them every week. Cannot imagine life without seeing them. As Prabha says, they are like extended family.

And I mentioned in some other post - "I just want to see them in my drawing room, weekend after weekend, forever and ever".

I started seeing CID from March/April 1998 and from the first episode I liked it as I am very fond detective stories. At that time Even Daya was not there, I think Insp. Viren was the main character apart from ACP. Gradually, came Daya, Abhijit and we(not only me, but my parents also) became more and more familiar with the CID team. I still remember how eagerly I used to wait for Wednesday night for that half an hour episode. Personally I think CID was at its best when there were Daya, Abhi, Asha, Freddy, Sudhakar. The cases were really good at that time. I started to develop a bond with the team. Meanwhile for 3 long years I missed CID. When I started to watch it again from Dec 2009, things have been changed. The magic is missing. Still I watch CID and will watch every week but with a heavy heart. Hope FW understands this and brings back the golden days.

TRIO is the link that connects us to the show. 😃 Their faces and hard work gives us a reason to be happy and have a positive approach. As someone had said - "We need to move on"😉
