Sulabha Deshpande is shown as superstitious and the whole family tries to prove her wrong. Ashok Sarf her nebour would take the lead in trying to prove her wrong and the way they go about it was hilarious. The last episode was amazing, in that one they go behind the camera, and show the working on the sets. Everyone is playing themselves, this was not real but dramatized. In that they show that out of all people only Sulabha Deshpande is not superstitious and the guy who is always making fun of her superstitions in the serial, Ashok Saraf is the biggest superstitious person of them all. I hope you know what I mean. It was an amazing comic series. I think it was aired in 1986-87. I wish I could see it again.

No...unable to recollect. But look at the list of actors. All of them were so good. Not like Hrishikesh or Sunaina. I remember some serials which used to come on Saturday afternoons, because I had 1/2 day school on Saturdays and could watch TV without my dad's complaints. There was one serial with Annu Kapoor and Harish Patel(I think). Annu Kapoor was the servant. That serial also had Neelima Azeem (Shahid Kapoor's mom). She used to ill-treat Annu Kapoor all the time.
And there was one Aa bail mujhe maar....which had Amol Palekar and Bharti Achrekar(I love this actress). Remember this one?

I remember that episode very well. Life used to be so much simpler then.

Do you recollect the title song, it went something like

Bade Shahar Ki Ek Gali Mein
Basa Hua Hai Nukkad
Nukkad Ke Sare Bashinde
Takdeeron Ke Fakkad
.................

Remember this one-

Ladki Hai Ek Naam Rajni Hai

Rajni Rajni Rajni

Rajni Ki Ek Yeh Kahani Hai

Dekhi Jahan Burayee Hai

Jake Wahan Takrayee Hai

And this one

Girl behind a curtain.

Girl : Shaadi aur tum se kabhi nahin (angry tone)

Pan Pasand gazab ka swad gazab ki mitas

Girl : Shaadi aur tum se kabhi nahin (sweet gentle tone)

Rajni...don't remember the early runs...but I think its re-runs were shown in Zee in the 90s.
But yes....lovely title song sung by Asha Bhosle.
And paan pasand...WOW....🤣
I don't think we get Pan Pasand now.
And remember the Sunday afternoon Spiderman sponsored by Rasna?
Mango Ripe, Mango ripe, Nayaa hai Rasna Mango ripe....something like that.
And there was one Appu Aur Pappu and Hum Panchi Ek Daal Ke.

I am not able to remember any episode or scene but I still remember the tune of the title song when it goes "aa bail mujhe maar". I also love Bharti Achrekar, I was lucky to have seen her, she was driving her car and I was standing at the signal, sometime in 1997. Another lady I just love is Supriya Pilgaonkar. If I ever happen to meet her, I am going to request her if I can give her a hug. And then my all time fav Mother/Mother-in-Law Reema Lagoo. O God I want to see Tu Tu Main Main now, kya comedy thi. It was originally aired on DD, I think on Mondays at 8 PM, since then I have seen whenever there have been repeat. I wish the repeats start again.

I remember Spiderman and He-Man. Remember that cute little Rasna girl?

I know about Appu Aur Pappu and Hum Panchi Ek Daal Ke but I am not able to recollect anything now. The names are so familiar; can you tell me what these shows were about?

Appu aur pappu was something about a boy and his pet elephant. I was too young to remember the details of each episode. .I only remember the name of the serial and the elephant.
Hum panchi...was about 4 kids - 3 boys and a girl, who were street children. (slumdog millionaire types) It was about their streetside adventures. I think it used to come in 1988 or so.
And has anyone seen Honeee Anhonee??? It was sooo scary. Or maybe I was too young to watch horror serials then. Aahat is nothing compared to that.
