bb in utube....nice di.
I remember some of the bakshi episodes on national.some years back there was a rerun too.but it was so early in the morning.
It was so simple and natural.not like cid....but i love the way cid is.

Does anyone remember the case which starred Utpal Dutt (I hope I got the name right). It was about a diamond and handmade statues. One of the best stories. I also love the Makdi Ka Zaher wala story where the clue was in the two color pens.

They should release Byomkesh Bakshi on DVD. It was awesome.

dont remember.....any of them.sosad and i watch the reruns only the first part of bb.itmwas time for me to rush to my campus so always miss the last part....its not in youtube too.

Yeah yeah...it was some Neelam wala title.

And yeah...the makdi wala bhi...Byomkesh makes fun of Ajit...Ajit says that the room was full of spider webs, so the guy must have eaten them. At this Byomkesh starts laughing and Ajit gets angry.

Later when Byomkesh asks Ajit to explain how he had solved the case, he says 'Nahin...tum hi sunao. Tumhara style achcha hai'.

No yaar Neelam was a diff this was a normal diamond. We are told about the theif right at the beginning. How BB get the diamond back was a super story.

I remember, the Utpal Dutt wala episode was the one where the diamond was hidden in the murthy. What was the Neelam wala episode? I am getting confused.

Then there was one episode where Byomkesh meets his future wife. People die without reason. Then Byomkesh finds that the matchbox has sticks which are coated with cyanide and on lighting them, the people are dying. No question of forensic here. ('ACP saab, is aurat ke fefdon mein cynaide hai' types) 😆

Another one where one guy was using a pin to prick the Medulla Oblongata of the brain. Byomkesh finds out by seeing a medical book in the house where someone had underlined that part where it is mentioned that pricking with a pin at the 'right' spot behind the neck can cause instant death. No Salunkhe here too.

i saw the first one....and the two are a great pair...just like holmes and watson.the medula oblongata case also looks familiar.i think i have seen this.
there was another one , a case in which man dies from the upstairs..

😆 😆 yeah BB did not need any Forensics, he was all that rolled into one. Actually apni CID team also does not need, I enjoy those cases more which have no Forensics.

Neelam wala case was where a very famous thief is caught after he steals a Neelam but they never found it. Later his roommate in jail, now a changed man, had started working for the rich man whom the Neelam belonged to. The roommate is found dead, that's why BB is called. His throat was slit. Actually in the end BB convinces the thief that Neelam is not lucky for all ever since that Neelam came in his life, his life has changed for worse, so he should just chuck the love of that jewel and give it back to the owner.
