i hav heard that it was a program aired in the late '90s where the host would would tell the viewers about criminals wh are on the loose...turns out the show had to go off air as the host was arrester for murdering his wife...anybody know about this show?/

The First episode called "THE END" of Star Bestseller was featuring him. It had only two characters played by Niki Aneja and Adi Sir. It was about a psychic woman who believes whatever she does is right and can't take no for an answer. She brings home on injured Adi Sir, a renowned author. Takes care of him. When he is cured asks him to write a book. Once the book is completed she tries to kill him so that she is the only person to have that book.

I remember this. I was small that time and this episode really had an impact on me for few days. Came from School on Saturday (Don't know its was repeat or originally aired as I remember seeing just 2 episodes of Star bestsellers they both were rocking ) while having lunch I watched this. Episode name Dead End. This was first time I saw Aditya on the receiving side. This episode scared me too as I was small. Mine So many expressions changed while watching it. I will write all expressions which I had during that time I know now I am grown up but that feeling of as a child was different. SO sharing. All the expressions used are of child hood memories. Now I know what a powerful acting was done by her that I hated her so much.

I don't remember the character name used. But just what I can recall I want to share. Little bit glimpses.

Aditya have an accident, it was some hilly area all around snow, The lady take him to his house and does all treatment (How good lady. The lady keep on wearing that black dress I remember till date. Even black gloves and all that ). When Aditya wake up he is thankful to her. Then he asks for leave (little bit remember he ask about hospital even I don't remember what she replied). Then she says she is great fan of his writing so he she wants to write for her also till then he cannot leave. He says no.

Then oh man what happened to that lady, such a psycho, she starts hurting Aditya on his wounds only, He was in so much pain, he says yes. Oh poor guy. Then she again starts treatment on his wounds. Bade pyaar se and she starts saying I cannot listen No so never ever say no. She is his big fan and all that stuff.

Then I remember that lady goes out brings stuff and he keeps writing days passing. (one question was always in my mind Ok he couldn't stand without that sticks but that lady everyday goes out why he not run. May be his promise don't know). Then one day a police officer comes to enquire about Aditya (may be another officer also came don't remember exactly) he finds something fishy but that Lady kills. Oh my god. At that time I was what type of person she is. Uffffff. When Aditya comes to know she killed officer too oh man his reactions. Bechara.

He completes his story when day of handing that story comes he says he will give it at that place only where he had accident. She agrees. At that place when she takes story she takes out knife to kill Aditya because she says he will take mind with himself and can again write this story. She wants this story with herself nobody else. He couldn't run as he was walking with so much difficulty. And suddenly she looses balance and she falls down (I was like very good) but he rushes to save her (why bahi she will kill you) but thank God only his finger tips touches and she falls down. (Mountain se gir ke kaisa laga.) and Aditya left in thoughts. (Ab ye ispe zarroor story likehga)

This is what I remember some scenes I may be wrong Prabha you have seen it I want to correct me. I would also want to know and can recall. I watched it around 2003

Sunny, I remember all that you mentioned and yes you are right this was the first time for me too when I saw Adi Sir being on the receiving end. The more I talk about him the more I fall in love with this actor, can't believe I used to hate him once upon a time but then he was just soooo good as a bad guy, ek chhoti si ladki aur kya sochti, theek hai, theek hai, haan maana itni bhi chhoti nahin thi phir bhi.

Recently I was checking some music CDs in Crosswords and found two series I saw as a kid. TENALIRAMA (remember the title music, Tanana Tanana Tanananana....) and AKBAR BIRBAL (starring Vikram Gokhale and Anang Desai respectively, remember akbar akbar BEEEERBAL, akbar akbar BEEEERBAL, ek hai sawal to ek hai hal).

O Yeah but both say Tanana but Malgudi Days music was slow, Tenalirama was fast paced. I have still not opened the DVD.
