Neither am I...I didn't like his entry...it was sort of stupid. He tells the ACP that he is an expert in Biology 😆 and something like that. He and Daya go to save a lady and a criminal is about to attack her. Jayanth aims at the guy's shoulders because shooting at shoulder doesn't kill a person. I don't know which episode this is. I saw it in 1999 and have vague memories of Jayanth and Daya doing shooting practice in the firing range. And he was sort of trying to act smart in front of Daya.

I havent heard that. All his cases and he was so uninteresting. He doesnt 'look like a cop. A gym episode i remember....poor daya was in there too.

it doesnt matter what they know, but what they do is important. They add knowledge to vivek and devyana when they need.

Jayant was from computers department. He was on a week's leave and requests ACP if he can join CID during that time. ACP agrees. He was not trying to be smart infront of Daya Sir, he was not even aware of his presence. ACP was asking Daya Sir to aim at the Target's head while notices that this man is only shooting at the Target's shoulder. He asks him WHY, he said when he was younger he had learnt that if you shoot in the shoulder it paralysis the person's hand but not kill him. That is the only Biology he mentioned.

I think Jayant's last case was THE CASE OF THE STOLEN NECKLACE. He was there for 6 cases (4 were with Abhi Sir) which sit well with his leave. He was never going to be on the CID Team for long.

Personally I never forgot Jayant. His first case THE CASE OF THE CROSS CONNECTION is on my all time favorite cases list. I just love that case. I think he was pleasant and any day better than someone we have to see now.

I don't really remember seeing him in Reluctant Killer....or were my eyes fixed on our present duo only?😉

Well If I had ignored his presence then it would have been an offence but we can let go of this guy 😃
