OK, as Prabha di has said, I am giving my own comments and reviews on the CID episodes she uploaded. I have watched all of them. But before that, I would like to thank Prabha di sincerly for her efforts of uploading these golden episodes. I am really grateful to us.👏 Sorry if I'm a tad bit critical of the cases.
The Case of The Accused Officer: It was a excellent episode. Wonderful acting by Aditya ji, just another reason to say why he's such an exceptional actor. Look at him in the climax, his anticipation and especially when they enter the phone booth for questioning and his tension just makes you feel for him. The culprit was very predictable, though. Liked the way "corruption" was projected on Abhijit's neck.
The Case of the Blind Witness: Ah, as soon as I saw this, I remember every detail of it. Brings back good ol' memories. Exceptional acting by Satam saab. Very emotional and touching episode. Especially the part where they reach the house and the culprits come in and the when the other one tries to escape after being confronted, ACP pulls him out of the car. But one question: What happens in the next episode after he says he's leaving CID?
The Case of the Bolted Door: Honestly, I felt it was a very ordinary case even though the concept was exceptional. Strange of Daya to break open the door by kicking it on the bottom. Good to see Asha in a saree.
The Case of the Cross Connection: This is one of the cases that made CID so realistic in its golden era. It brought the then prominent problems of India, that is cross connections and applied it to make a case. Jayant(Tushar Dalvi) was a very good actor and would certainly have made a good impact had he stayed on in CID. Although I felt he was acting a bit rushed and there was a hint of overacting on his first episode. Also, one of the few episodes where they show the CID firing range(Wonder what happened to it now?)
The Case of the Deep Wound: Again, a brilliant and outstanding case from the Pre-Abhijit but Post-Viren era. Liked to see a little bit of action from Freddy once in a while. Fantastic stuff from ACP and I was completely caught unaware when the killer was found.
The Case of The Impossible Murder: This was one of the best cases I have ever seen among these videos. Really made you think: Hmmm? Closed Door with only Abhijit and that woman and with no holes through with know secret places through which anyone could have shot her. Poor Abhijit. How badly he was framed, even the ACP was doubting him, which made me really angry.😡 Also, very realistic acting, especially by Aditya sir when he waves of the lady in the starting scene. Look at his arrogance when he does so and you will understand how apt he did so.
The Case of the Injured Witness: This was also very good. The way Daya handled the situation was very good too and how he brought his duty as a police officer before his family. This was the first old episode I saw uploaded by Prabha di and I broke down seeing it, especially when Daya starts crying in the end. ACP, Abhijit, Daya all looking very young and thin. A pleasure to see them.
The Case of the Stolen Car: This one was really a gem. This brought me to the edge of my seat, especially at the end of the show. Baap re baap!!! This case had "Excitement" written all over it. I would recommend that you watch it.
The Case of the Stolen Dynamite: Ah, the famous Abhijit memory loss case. What can I say? Jo bhi bolo kum hai. How Abhijit saves them at the nick of time. This was also very realistic, as it showed how the police officers actually act in real life, smoking and all that. BTW, I'm confused. Why didn't Abhijit and Daya get penalized for smoking and drinking but Freddy did(There was a case I think in 2006, where Freddy is caught drinking, and he is ridiculed by the ACP). But nonetheless, an outstanding episode.
The Case of the Stolen Gun: This is also one of my favorite episodes uploade by Prabha di. This one belonged completely to Aditya ji. His expressions, especially his anger and his rage and his madness showed how versatile he is!!! This guy really needs to get better projects in Bollywood. Highly recommended!!! BTW, I liked how Inspector Vivek(the old one) looked at ACP when he ACP was screaming in rage. Exactly like that of a faithful dog looking at his master when he scolds him.😆
Hope you liked my reviews!!!
