the character of Sr. Insp. Abhijeet is the most interesting one............. a character which attracts each & every audience. it's one of the best character in indian TV history. & of course, Aditya Srivastava's powerhouse performance is the main reason for it.

i have a question : was BP singh inspired frm any other person for creating the character of abhijit?

i mean, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle was inspired frm his professor Dr. Joseph Bell to create the legendary Sherlock Holmes.

did any similar things happen here?????????

We'll get to know such stuff if only someone goes and interviews them properly.

We were discussing how the brooding Abhijeet transformed into a smiling Abhijeet.

Aditya sir mentions that playing the Baadshah was 'emotionally draining' for him.

Assuming that he internalises the character's feelings when he does those roles, one can imagine how stressful it would have been to play a 'brooding', 'serious' Abhijeet all the time. Maybe that's why they all decided that Abhijeet should start smiling too....what do you think?

(And yeah...that article gives an idea about his age....he was 36 in 2005 😉)

thanks for the article. it's true after 2005 abhijit changed a bit. he started to smile, became more lively & pleasant.

ya, he is looking "emotinally drained" in the movie too...i remember once reading somewhere that Satam sir while portraying a poignant character became so involved in it that he later began to suffer from depressive disorders and it also took a toll on his health physically...these things always happen with really talented artists
