14 July 2009: In Chittod, Nagmati yells at Yashovardhan for having brought Badal into her mahal and moreover for having called him mama. When Badal goes and tells Padmini how he was yelled at by Nagmati, Padmini takes Nagmati's side. Nagmati raises her hand on Yashovardhan, and warns him not to make unnecessary relations with others. In Delhi, Khushro introduces Khiljee to Ratanmal. Ratanmal tells Khiljee he will be able to help him win Ranthambhor, as he knows certain secret passages that will help his army enter the fort and capture it. Khiljee tells Khushro that as soon as he wins Ranthambhor he will go to Chittod to see the beauty (Padmini) who has been in his mind from the time he heard of her, and who is the reason for his sleepless nights. Back in Chittod, Padmini, is about to enter the corridor of Ratan Singh's chamber but is stopped by the royal guards. The prime minister voices on behalf of all the other ministers their disapproval of Gora becoming the Chief of Generals to Samar Singh and Abha Devi. After the prime minister leaves, Nagmati continues to complain about Padmini and suddenly she feels dizzy and tells her in-laws that every time she talks about Padmini or her family she starts feeling like this. As Nagmati walks out of the palace, she is about to fall down but is caught by Padmini.
