The review is shortsighted and does not do justice to the show.

The show has just begun and more importantly, it is based on historical facts.

As long as the director does not distort the history ... the show will always have an eager and enthusiastic audience and high TRPs.

hi Guys,
My name is Srinath. Guys I could just catch up with 1 epi of the show so far, I liked the sets the camera work & the action in the first epi. Guys its a bit too early for every one to critisize the show, But I agree with you on one thing is the Rani Padmini was one the most beutifull women of those times & the actress who plays the role of the legendary queen, no doubt doing a good job. I lked her action sceen's in the first epi. Lets see how she does in latter episodes. Now the actor who palyes the role of the Rana of chithod, this actor if not mistaken was first seen in Ektas Kunki... , In that too he had only a small role, & if I am correct his character died soon in that show. Though he is trying his best & the royal costume looks good on him, But guys i feel they could have taken some one eles as the Rana Ratan Singh of Chitod. Mukesh Rishi who plays the rolle of Allaudin Khilji the Sultan Of Delhi, is perfect for the role. But I difer with his costume, he is seen in dhoti, but the sultans of Delhi's costumes are some thing different.
Lets see how the show progresses.

i think the actress is perfect...she has the combination of beauty wid brains...tats y she perfectly fits in the character of ranipadmini...!shes got sharp luks tat can get any1 mesmerized...her body language was absolutely brillinat wen she did the fightg scene ..it didnt luk forced or phony.... like u c nowadays who try 2 put mre efforts wid the hands n leg movements... she has the luk of a mature n a sensible rajputani especilally watched the promos where she is shown as sober n tough...on the other side she luks very delicate n graceful...i dnt think the director has dne anythg wrong in castg her....she has got the mix of all wat is required...dangerous beauty!!!
wat is the sue of castg an actress or actor vich is pretty bt doesnt kno the minute details of actg
n regardg her xpressions ...she will improve .as u cnt xpect results in 3 epsdes...jus luk at any actor n compare him in his 1st serial n now n u will find tremendous improvment, change n a confidence...same goes wid her...shes new n shud b given time!!!

I do think it's a little early for HT to make such criticisms. The show is 4 epis in - and this article was probably written when the writer had seen 2 epis. 40 mins are enough to make such comments? Hmm.

History is, at the end of the day, a story, told from the writer's perspective. As long as the commonly accepted history isn't completely distorted beyond belief, (which we have seen in other recent historical epics), some level of creativity is not only acceptable but actually required to hold audience attention.

what they are telling in the review....is actually right i have read a lot of stories abt rani padmini tht she commited suicide to preserve the chastity and was a dedicated and honourable woman but here she is somewhat been masculine riding on horses and playing with swords....atleast they should make the facts as they are.....rest is upto the audience
