Reports on the Chhoti Bahu leads Rubina Dilaikand Avinash Sachdev tying the knot in the real life have made it to almost all newspapers and portals. Since it was TellyChakkar Mag who broke the news on their new found love we were keen on doing a follow-up to know if the couple was getting married.

We called up Avinash to know if they were getting married and this is what he said, "It's not true at all and I am completely clueless as to who is fanning these rumours. My wedding is something that I would be proud of and there is no reason why I would hide it. If I get married everybody would come to know of it. I am not getting married to Rubina."

But what about the reports suggesting that the actress met his mother and the two allegedly came together to discuss marriage. "Rubina met my mother but that was way back on Mothers' Day. Her mother was to come down to Mumbai but she couldn't make it. Since my mother was there with me then she spent sometime with my mother."

In fact Avinash went a step further and denied that he was even in a relationship with Rubina. He stated, "We are not dating each other and are just friends."

Rubina too seconded her co-actor and said, "I too have come to know that a few newspapers and sites have been flashing this rumour but this is a complete baseless rumour. It seems someone from the sets has spread this rumour in the media. We are getting married on-screen and it's simply that. We have a hint as to who is spreading such false rumours but don't want to confront the concerned person directly as it would result in bad vibes and unnecessary trouble on the sets. Avinash and I have been laughing off the rumours about our alleged marriage. People atleast are talking about us and thus giving us publicity."

When questioned about her equation with Avinash, she said that they are just friends. "We are very good friends," she concluded.

Ok you are not getting married …atleast not for now. But hey guys we don't buy the 'we-are-just-friends' line!
