I want to thank Samta ji for taking the time out to post such a sweet message to her fans and for remembering me. Speaking with her on the phone was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. I have never met anyone so sincere and genuine. There are absolutely no pretenses about her...she is down to earth, humble, and honest. What you see and hear is what you get. Imagine an accomplished stage and television actress asking my friends and me what we thought of her performance and how she can improve? I was beyond touched that Samtaji cared so much for her fans' opinions on her work. She's a truly gifted actress and I highly recommend each of you to watch her on 'Sanjog Se Bani Sangini'. I hope that I get to meet Samta ji in person one day soon! Hopefully it will happen during my next trip to Mumbai! I cannot wait to tell her in person how much I respect and admire her. All the best Samta ji, we love you!

Sandeepa ... you are absolutely right she is very talented and very down to earth ... she has no airs about herself being a celebrity ... what you hear and see is what you get is so appropriate for Samta ji ... and yes she loves her fans dearly just the way her fans love her... with the talent and humbleness she possesses is a vital sign that she will always remain a successful actress and will be loved and admired by her fans always ... thanks for recommending Sanjog Se Bani Sangini where Samta ji plays a role which is very different from Devki of CB.

Also please look out for the posting on the forum of an exclusive personal interview of Samta ji by the executive editor of an award winning newspaper of a University in New York .... this only conveys one message that Samta ji is not only popular in India but her talent is also appreciated by the overseas admirers so much that colleges write about her ... will keep you all posted ..

Hi Sandeepa and Abali,

I understand your sentiments re: Samta Sagar and your personal relationship with her. I agree she seems like a wonderful person and kudos to her for restarting her acting life after CB ended.

I have a couple of questions for you based on what I keep reading in this and the previous thread...

Is Sanjog Se Bani Sangini in trouble with low TRPs, or whatever these ratings are called? You guys seem to be pushing that show a lot in the CB forum

Are you guys representing her in a contractual capacity in the entertainment industry, judging by the posts and now a school-based publication interview (son or daugter in journalism school at NYU or Columbia? Congratulations!)

Judging by the IF rule below, is this called a violation of the IF rule for advertising SSBS in the CB forum?
No Advertising
Advertising is STRICTLY AGAINST the IF COC. Advertising other forum through Video links is considered as spamming. Such topics will be trashed and a Warning PM will be sent to you right away. If you choose to ignore the warning, your Warning Level will be raised.

A few days back someone named simran386 (or some number) .. had recommended members in CB forum to watch something else and that created a big issue and her thread was closed down.

Is this okay for DT members from this own forum to recommend members here to watch a show and write about a show unrelated to this forum?

Same rules do not apply to members and DT members?

This is CB forum and as per the rules, one is supposed to write only thing connected to CB and not something else. PERIOD!

This thread needs to be closed or trashed if you want to apply IF rules here.

Its really ridiculous that this thread is also made a sticky and rules are not followed by DT members and non-DT members need to point out such issues. Shameful in my humble opinion.

Hey guys

I like Samta. She was good as Devki, but now that she is on SSBS, shouldn't this thread / sticky be on the SSBS forum?

Oh!! also, may be someone should start her FB fan page. That way everyone can participate--beyond the forum.

Just my thoughts----these will give Samta a much bigger fan following.

(BTW: what's the difference between thread and sticky and why some things are threads and others are stickies?)
