Oh God Eva !!
This is sooo wonderful and I just envy you guys (of course in a positive sense ! 😉)
Reading thru your lovely and conversational style of writing and experience, I just know that if I was talking to them, I would just keep conversing, as I am sure you all did, about so many different things, politely complaining, suggesting, etc etc.
From yours and Sandeepa's post, it is so clear that every one of this wonderful cast of CB is so down to earth, no ghamand, no pride. And they are just like you and me and the rest of us. They have a special talent and skill that they portray on the small screen and our junoon for that craft has put them on a pedestal. And as you say, they even feel shy about that, which speaks for their simplicity and purity of heart.
And yes, since I speak Punjabi-Gujju too ( 😉 ), as you know, would have def talked with Gopiji in Gujrati. Speaking with anybody in their native tongue makes the connection even faster and closer.
And as I also noticed in Usha's videos about her meeting with Avi and Rubi, and someone else posting Samtaji's video also, and so many SBS videos we have seen all these months, I could tell how wonderful and simple Samtaji appeared, as did our fav JODI !! 👏👏🤗
So true that a show cannot thrive without the supporting cast and their caustic and negative characters for the show to move forward. Otherwise CB would have been history without making a history, which is what they are striving for.
I just dont know if these DJs are thankful, appreciative or anything for the gruelling hours day in and day out that these actors work. I am always in awe of their dedication and loyalty. And that's why in spite of some unacceptable tracks and illogic, they have not only survived to this day but have also maintained their sustaining power, and even got the show extended for another six months as of this day.
And now that you two have spoken to them, wonder how you will feel THIS TIME when Shastri pariwaar attend their ladli beti's wedding again !! Aisa lagega as if you know them "personally" and perhaps will even view them differently for the first time ! Isn't it ?!?!
My personal dream and wish is that CB continues on for at least 3K to 4K episodes, if not longer. And somehow dont feel that it's a wishful thinking.
