im loving this new dev thank god the 80's horrid hairstyle has been replaced now i wish with his crew cut he starts spikin up his hair instead of that uncle ji side parting. im 100% he will look so hot in that hair do
very handsome guy but his hair spoilt it all & for his loss memory acting he is awesome in it

finally his acting has improved alot, just hope he improves in his emotional scenes to and lucky has got another stunner in sonia singh as his co star

Here is synposis of that movie:

I have not seen today's episode yet....so will reserve my response to that later..................

Thanks Anu. Your synopsis helped. If I had thought of the song, I would have remembered the name of the movie! I am not saying that CB is going that route, but AB was in dual and opposing roles. Since he is also Avinash's role model, who else would Avinash mold himself after but AB. There will definitely be a sharp contrast to the trusting Radhe Radhe DRP when his new avtaar is revealed in the coming weeks.

You are right, 49erFan. He will definitley show gundagiri and his rough side to Radhika but I hope that his basic nature of inherent goodness comes through at some point.

I just realized that I will not be watching CB anymore, but a new show. I have to give it a new name to reconcile the leaps and switches.

I have watched Kasme Vaade and don't remember anything other than one song. yes, am very bad at remembering movies :-)

Bee, I don't necessarily think the Creatives are going Kasme Vaade route because too many movies come to mind, e.g. A walk in the Clouds by Keanu Reeves, Dhai Akshar Prem Ke, Daag. It will be a hodge-podge of a story and it is done for a reason - to keep us guessing. But Avinash will have a hint of AB, his role model, in whatever he portrays - an angry young man, treated unjustly (in this case amnesia) who lashes out at society but not in a mean, criminal way, and changing for the better, eventually, with the right kind of woman.

Why, I haven't watched Sarkar, but I downloaded it today to watch later. Dev is certainly going AB route. As I mentioned earlier, I have to disconnect from CB and reconnect my brain to the new drama in Agra. The characters have changed (don't know if for better or worse), the setting has changed and the original concept is long forgotten.

It reminds me of Nissan that used to be Datsun about a decade or so ago. One day the company changed the name to Nissan with such a hard ad campaign that to remember Datsun I had to go to Wiki!

DJs need to do the same thing - change the name of the show! It will help me get over CB fixation!

Ayushman, I have reconciled to the fact that what the CVs advertise through promos and articles/interviews is one big joke. The medium is strictly to generate viewer interest. Dev's alter ego is being shown as a hard core dadu, so unlike his loveable cuddly self ofthe past. It will be very much like the AB movies of the past.

Rajsri, come on. Do you really believe that the Creative team will take such an easy route? How else will they dangle carrots, create havoc in the female viewership and not to mention the melodrama? Oh yes, friction will surely happen with the new AB-ish alter ego of Dev. The only thing to do is to wait and watch.

I think Birju might help Radhika here. He is getting decked as a driver, so he may get job for Goonda abhay and Sita-Laxman will take their RAm back to PB nagari..and again we will complain as Goonda avi will have impressed us by then. I like this Radhika better than RP whre day night she would do puja.. Here atleast she ventures out and utters the word "interview".. has got her identity. Vivek has also become mobile and Mrin more funny and shameless.
I love Vaishali also in supporting mother role.

Avinafan, I will wait and see what comes of the re-entry. I am done predicting, since trying to pick the Creative team's brain is futile. Yes, the earring and the jump from the truck suggests a rough and tough person. You may be right about the language too. I am feeling very laid back about the new show.

Mishti, see, you and I agree about Avinash going for the Big B like role - rough and tough guy, but soft heart. Even Kanika is afraid of him but the kid may be his soft spot. Lets see how Avinash does justice to the new persona. But all this also makes it a new show. CB is history, as far as I am concerned!

Chalhov, I don't recall seeing Coolie (the movie where AB was seriously injured?) but AB made so many similar movies with the tough yet soft guy roles that this is where Avinash will be able to change his loveable Dev persona to the new close to being a criminal Abhay character, just like AB, and then be influenced by Radhika along the way and revert.
