Misti, just when I start losing interest in the show, they bring the good director/creative person and I start having hopes again. But then again... I mean comparing March suhaagraat in Malaysia to 26th April suhaagraat, it was a huge difference. Same with Friday' episode vs. the rest.
Yep it does not make sense.....maybe whe ever is the creative or director he is lazy for majority of the time and then wakes up for one day and then again continues on his sleepwalking.
I guess it was like Mahabharat where all the good characters remain silent even though they disagree. But, in Mahabharat, Duryodhan was really powerful as his father was weak and he ruled the roost. Here, Amma is nothing and yet is allowed the say in the proceedings. I guess the purpose was to show that Radhika has become so strong that she doesn't need Dadi or Babuji to stand up for her. But still it should be logical. They didn't have to show the shaving of the head scene as it was not at all consistent with their back story. Similarly, I can understand that Dadi gets her strength from Dev and losing him has weakened her considerably. But, babuji was in his normal mode and expected his Friday behavior. In any case, Friday episode kind of was good.
When I compared it to Mahabharat I didn't mean amma asDurydhana.....I meant the entire set up.......and it was done to show Radhkas strength in a very callous and bizzare way.
It would be good if they show Radhika taking over the responsibilities of RP as just few days back they stated that if RP dies, his widow gets all the powers. Also, there is a mother of "waaris" question. Will they use that card to give powers to Radhika? I would like it if they do that and combine it with Dev coming back and working together with Radhika to expose Chikna. Or Radhika getting the powers and searching for Dev, but it would be ridiculous to show Dev with another girl acting like Vishaka.
Radhika taking over responsibilities as RP is what I have been thinking about....they have been harping about it for a long time.....I mean from their return fron the gufa when Rdahika was presented with the red book and told that in the absence of RP she will have to do the duties when RP is not around.....I would also like Radhika and Dev to fight this...as forthe new girl.....how about Priyanka Mishara with a new haircut acting like a new girl.😉
Instead of giving layers to Chikna, they are hell bent on making him a one-dimensional character as Vishaka and Amma. On Friday they showed a glimpse of grey Chikna. I thought it would be very interesting with chikna and Chachoo fighting over RPtitle and Radhika in the middle. Even though Radhika is alone, she will benefit from the fight between Chachoo and chikna. Also I thoguht that they will expose Mrin through chikna as chikna will tell about her affair with Arjun to undermine both of them. But, it probably won't happen as chikna is now out in open at least in Radhika's eyes.
The only interesting character for me..atleast somewhat interesting for me is Chachoo...Chikna is a gone case for me. Would have prefered if he had been kept as a complex character but the creatives it seems are not interested in that. As for Mrinalini and Chikna......that scene between them on Friday reminded me of a scene between Vishaka and Mrinalini from last year.........when they return from that floating lamp in the river and dadima scolds Vishaka for not paying attention Mrinalini realises that Dev does not have any relationship with Vishaka and that Vishaka still is hell bent on her acting career, so she remoes Vishaka in a round about way.....she also removes Radhika and Dev goes in search of her.....here Chikna warns Mrinaini that he knows her intentions and he has removed Dev from PB.
Not sure about babuji prayer. Aren't they going on at the same ime as Radhika is meeting Shantanu as babju said next day after the torture day.
Angie logically yes your time scale is right but its CB so don't expect any time scale from them. That might have been a carrot...anyway I am sure they will use it if it adds to their melodrama.
