I felt very sad for Chikna yesterday.
The mistake was committed by Vaishali and hence had to get the curse from some rishi and the child becomes a scape-goat. Was it the fault of the child?
Time and again if the nurse who brought up Chikna had to constantly remind him how his mother thought him to be Kulvinashak and hence deserted him, is no different from how Radhika was reminded by amma that she was deserted by her parents and was brought home and given shelter by Shastriji. No wonder Chikna wanted Shastriji to be punished in Vrindavan and expose the adharm that happened to Radhika at his home. I am sure he sees Radhika as another abused child just like him which will make him more protective about her and in the end may be the reason to drop the idea of wreaking vengeance.
His respect for Radhika will be high but may be enough to cause a rift between Dev and Radhika.
He also had a look at his mother to see if he gets the acceptance from her as her son, just the way Radhika used to crave for amma's acceptance as her GD. Whether he goes for the RP position and claims the purohit wealth or not., one thing is for certain he is going to force the issue on Vaishali to tell the truth and the longer Vaishali takes the more her other devious attempts to be exposed. How she along with chamak-chaloo tried to bring back Vishaka into the house as Dev's wife during the second marriage and how Radhika also has to tell the truth. At the end of the track he would have done enough damage to Vaishali thus fulfilling the curse of the rishi. I don't think he can do anything against Radhika.
This track also has the potential to disclose other enemies in the house. So many things will come to light and I really wish and hope all the characters are shown to be consistent and true to the original characterisation.
Really feel sorry for chikna as an abandoned child, one of the main reasons why liked the character of Radhika.
