I thought I knew my mahabharat. But, didn't know that Shantanu had brothers. Only knew that he always made poor judgments - first with Ganga letting her kill all his seven sons (at least stopped her before she could kill the eight son - Devvrat or Bhism) and then with Satyavati for whom his son had to give up his rights and hence starting the origination of the great war. So, Shantanu always lost his judgment when he saw a beautiful woman.Here, Chikna is pretty focused on his revenge thing. I guess they will show that Pataka is going to thwart his plans. But, he seems to be after RP title as that goes with the whole prestige and money thing. Dev is rich and influential because of being RP (even though don't see much of the influence as he seems to get punished by every small panchayat and mahant for no fault of his).Now Bhrigu Samhita kind of has thrown me. As Usha mentioned, it has to do with past, present and future (actually if you have all the pages, it tells you about your past births). Has Chikna told Radhika some family history and Radhika is checking that or is it related to Waaris? Well, curious minds want to know. Or will it be khoda pahad and nikli chuyiha.
In Mahabharat Shantanus marriage and meeting with Ganga were all preordained.........its true that Bheeshma or Devdutt was the 8th son who got saved and the first seven were killed by Ganga herself.......All 8 were the 8 vasus the immortal sons of Manu who wanted to help the daughter of a rishi (forgot his name) to become immortal......the only way possible was for her to drink the milk of the Holy cow Nandini who belonged to Rishi Vashishtha......the 8 Vasus were caught and were cursed by the rishi that each will have to spend one life on earth. So they begged Ganga for help and asked her to kill them as soon as they were born........Ganga relented but said that the last one will not be killed and will live to complete his life on earth.......the last one was Bheeshma.......as for her meeting Shantanu that was also decided before Shantanus birth......and thats another story.....
Shantanu did loose his head over Satyavati but it was Bheeshma who saw his fathers dejected condition and promised that he will not marry and not have sex, plus will leave the throne......Shantanu and satyavati had two sons.......one died before Santanus death and the other who was married to Amba and ambalika dies afterwards......since Bheeshma could not marry them and the future king had to be descendents of Satyavati........Vyasa was called in who was also Satyavatis child from a previous relationship..........Amba gave birth to Dhritarashtra and Ambalika to Pandu.
So Angie these creatives might be making a kichri of Mahabharat and Ramayan......with Dev/Ram, Radhika/Sit, Chikna/Ravan..........and again.........Shantanu the middle son........with either Shantanu or Dev not of pure birth/adopted...........maybe Shantanu.....because they know Devs birth details to have a janam kundali and Vaishali was obsessed about this issue. So if Shantanus past comes out that will be an insult to the Purohits.......or there may be something to do with Devs birth............Vaishali is the mother but father is someone else.......a skeleton that maybe only dadima, vaishali and Sr. Purohit knows..........the creatives killed off the senior purohit pretty early but have kept Vaishali........that means she is important to the story. Maybe using the Samhita book, using Devs birth details Radhika has now realised the truth.......maybe she does not know about Shantanus link to the Purohits but she might know now about Devs birth.
As for the Sabha....they might end up bringing the posistve version of Vishaka who will herself free Dev and hence Radhika then does not have to do anything regarding Shanatnu.......😆😆😆........as I have said Chikna is the carrot....and there are loads of red herrings being thrown out by the creatives.
