The 'Bhrigu Samhita' is an Astrological (Jyotish) classic written by 'Maharishi Bhrigu' during the Vedic period. Although the available evidence suggests that this was compiled over a period of time by the various Sishyas (Students in the lineage) of Maharishi Bhrigu. It is confirmed cannon that saint Bhrigu was the first compiler of predictive Astrology i.e. the Fifth Veda of Treta Yug or beginning of Hindu culture and ancient age. (The first four are the Rig, Yajur, Sama and Atharva Veda which are Sruti 's having been heard by the Maharishi's from the mouth of Lord Brahma). Maharishi Bhrigu compiled about 5 lakh horoscopes with help of Lord Ganesha and recorded the life details and events of the persons along with their ages. This formed the database for further research and study. This study culminated in the birth of the science (Shastra) of determining the quality of time (Hora) and is the Brihat Parasara Hora Shastra. These Horoscopes were based upon the Planetary position of the Sun, the Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu. After that, Maharishi Bhrigu gave his predictions on different types of Horoscopes compiled by him with the help of Lord Ganesha in a brief and concise manner. The total permutations/ possible horoscope charts that can be drawn with this is about 45 Million.

During the foreign invasions in India, Brahmin community was dispersed all over India. The invaders also captured these prime assets of Brahmins. For them, it was a miraculous form of telling the fortune of a person and some parts of the 'Bhrigu Samhita' were taken away by them to some foreign countries. The most unfortunate and destructive happening was the destruction of Nalanda University library by Mughals. Later on 1 or 2 Lakhs of Horoscope of 'Bhrigu Samhita' remained with the Brahmin community which are now scattered in various parts of India. It is also very unfortunate that some wrong people claiming to have in their possession the original bhrigu samhita but in reality it is a cheap and fraudulent form of bhrigu samhita.

If an original 'Bhrigu Samhita's leaf containing the horoscope of an individual is available correctly, it not only can predict the past, present and future, but also reveals the consulting day, time and date of the individual along with the remedial measures. Some thousands of Leaflet Horoscopes from the original 'Bhrigu Samhita' are available with one Pandit in Hoshiyarpur, which is situated in Punjab. It is also very unfortunate that dozens of Pandits in India claim to have with them the original 'Bhrigu Samhita

Agree with you Misti. The muted dialogues and lack of detail about Chikna is simply because the CVs themselves don't know where the story is headed. They are testing out the waters and keeping Chikna a grey character. They will do whatever the trps dictate. I wonder if they plan on keeping Vikram around or if he just made a guest appearance. I'm not sure how I feel about this whole track. I liked the way Radhika was portrayed today (strong, silent, determined RPtain) but it's not sitting well with me that she evaded Dev's questions and kept the truth hidden from him.

This truth thing was very confusing today........well there is a saying "rubbish in, rubbish out".....thats what has happened.......since the creatives are themselves confused and are writing on the basis of peoples feedback.........confusion is coming out..........and thats what we are getting.......either they are doing it deliberately to divert our sattention from the fact that there is no story or they are actually confused.

Sigrid, thanks for the information on Bhrigu Samhita. I have a copy of the Samhita but I have no way of knowing its authenticity. BTW, Bhrigu Rishi is our family's patron saint!

I agree. Todays radhika was very good. I just dont understand Shastri ji. One time he says something and the other time he says another thing. When he's confusing sane people like us how can the brainless people in CB understand what he's saying. No wonder that everyone is dumb in CB, the dialogues that their given, is making them dumb.

I still think that he is going to be revealed as lover boy's brother who feels slighted that Dev got everything that he should have gotten. He is pushing Radhika because that's the best way for him to get to Dev emotionally. So, they will show him playing mind games with Radhika and Dev. I don't think he asked Radhika for ONS otherwise Radhika would be in tears or something.

He either asked for Dev's property or his RP title or wants Radhika to keep him a good guy in front of all PF so that he can do further damage. So, it would be shown as a battle between him and Radhika until Dev gets wisened up and picks up the sword. But, really liked today's portrayal of Radhika and wish they had shown it yesterday.

Mrin was the comic relief by hording jewelry.

Logical Question of the day: If all the jewelry given by PF belongs to their trust, they can not sell it or remove it. Then, how come Radhika distributes the jewerlry like crazy to to cab drivers, Purab, mad mob. Shouldn't she be given some money so that she doesn't distribute PF's trust jewels.

Now coming to Shantanu as far as I remember in Mahabharata, he was the youngest son of King Pratipa.........the eldest one had a skin ailment and some sort of disability.....so although being intelligent and liked by his fathers subjects, he was not allowed to become the king.........the second one left his fathers kingdom and I think lived with his maternal uncle and got his maternal grandfathers kigdom and also did some conquests of his own.........the youngest Shantanu was left behind and he became the King of Hastinapur with the second brothers permission.....

So here they might have made Shantanu the middle one, instead of the younger one.......because Devs the younger one who has got the kingdom........in Mahabaharat Shanatnu only became king after he got his middle brothers permission.......as far asI can remember .......but I may be wrong here.

If it is Shantanu in PB then it will be again repeatation of last year with Vishaka in PB.😃😃😃

😆 😆 😆 Loved the write up ... I am glad I watch the episode before I read any updates ... otherwise, the only thing that would have been on my mind would have been chikna smacking his lips

Enjoyed the episode ... liked Rads a lot today (except for the fact that she is taking this lone warrior thing too seriously)... she looked very dignified and composed. Don't know what chikna expects her to do ... am not going to spend much time speculating abt it though. Hopefully it wont be something inane where they leave loose threads hanging like the daksh episodes

Chikna still looks like a bad guy to me. A light bulb seemed to go off near Dev's head ... hope he thinks about and wonders what pataka promised the devil.

Sorry, Misti ... no chachoo ... he is away planning and pilfering for his future. As the episode ended, I was thinking of the song you wrote for him 😭 ... hope he shows up next week.
