Ok, my second post after quitting the forum. I confess that I still come here once in a while and check the threads, but am restraining from writing here. I haven't watched the show but just read the update.
Everyone is now dumb. They could have easily shown Devki lying as that is consistent with her character. Whenever things are tough, she always is unjust to Radhika and choose Vishaka over Radhika. They didn't have to go through Vishaka locking up Radhika (nobody suspecting why she is doing it), Amma poisoning Devki. Devki was always partial towards Vishaka and chose Vishaka over Radhika, but she wasn't dumb. She knows that Dev loves Radhika unconditionally and intensely. So, when he didn't touch her for months, suddenly he would sleep with her prior to her running away. Also, how is Radhika coming between Dev and Vishaka when Dev never wanted Vishaka in the first place. Even if everything is true, Radhika was and is Dev's first wife and second wife. So, if Vishaka slept with him, it was her sin and not Dev's. Also, now there is no baby and so what is the reason for lying about Radhika's marriage to Dev.
Second venting: Ok, so all three Shastri women are rotten to the core (Vishaka, Devki and Amma). But what about PF? Why would they believe these Shastri women who have only brought insult and disgrace to their family over Radhika who has done nothing but be the ideal CB to them. She has taken Vaishali's insults and never answered her back. Also, she is a kanha bhakt who prayed for their son when he went to the gufa and sat in the puja with all her burns. How come suddenly nobody wants to believe her even though they have seen her suffer in the hands of Shastri women. Amma was screaming at her the other day and everyone was silent including Dadi. Why degrade these beloved characters so much.
Third venting: I like that at least they show Dev believing her even though they changed the story of their terrace scene (conversation between them during the first wedding) in order for PF to think that Dev only supports Radhika because he loves her so much. Anyway, when Amma was taking all these kasams and Dev was supporting her, they never gave him any substantial dialogues. He could have easily told Shastriji that Radhika also swore on Kanha and if it comes between her swearing and Amma's, he would believe Radhika because he has seen Amma doing a lot of torture to Radhika - cursing her, burning her hands with those bangles etc. But, they don't give him that. Also, Vishaka comes to their room and say gibberish. Dev never says that even if Radhika was not in his life, he would not like to be married to a characterless girl like her who sleeps around and then comes to take her sister's happiness by trying to snatch her husband - the same sister who burnt for her. It is as if the burning never happened. Same with Shastriji. Doesn't he remember that Radhika burnt for Vishaka and yet he allows his mother to say that Radhika snatched Vishaka's rights.
Such lame dialogues or silence from the characters who once were strong in CB. I just hope that they don't show Radhika backtracking on Monday once her father has an heartattack and her mother lies. According to 2 episodes ago, she told Dev that she is now ready to face any storm as he trusts her. Backtracking would be really bad. They should show her not backing down from her truth and Dev supporting her even if the rest of the family is mad at her. But, knowing these creatives they will further degrade Radhika and make her weak again.
Anyway, this is my contribution to this serial for this week. At least, I am not writing every day for this stupid show. Also, my addiction to the show has started to go away. Will come back the day it is totally gone.
