Today my mum was watching Do Sahiliyaan on ZeeTv, it's a new show. I was just sitting down with my mum, I had no interest so started looking at the credits that appear at the start.
There I saw the name of Damini Kanwal. The old writer of CB, the good old days!!!!
Maybe she stopped writing for CB because she was offered a new serial to write about.
The serial is kind of the same, There are two girls. They are very close and are the best of friends. They both get married on the same day and are both travelling to Mount Abu in a train for their HM. The train crashes and the girls get swapped. One jodi knew that they are not real Husband and wife and are just acting for the sake of their Family members. The other Jodi don't and think that they are real Husband and Wife and actually share the same bedroom and bed but they do not have their SR.
The girls who is acting tries to find her real husband and is travelling to a mandir, but there the jodi that think that they are really married are getting married again. So now that they are actually married and now the guy is married to 2 girls.
The story is confusing as you would describe CB at the start. The writer creates such situations where one girl assumes that she is the wife of her friends husband when her husband is pretending to be the other friend's husband for the sake of his sick father.
I hope you understood that. 😕

Yes, I also noticed that Damini Kanwal Shetty is now writing for 'Do Saheliyan'. I wish she'd come back and write for CB again! The Choubeys need to go!
So many serials have copied concepts from CB. Ysterday in the US episode of 'Yahaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli' I saw Karan put tikka on Abha by joining his forehead with hers and leaving behind the red mark...Dev did that to Radhika after their bath in the healing kund. On 'Do Saheliyan" Shaurya arranged for rose petals to fall all over Bhanwari on their SR just like Dev did for Radhika in Malaysia.

I saw that as well. But the scene rose petals falling on Radev was more magical and romantic than Do Seheliyan. Damini probably got frustrated with supervisor of Zee CB creative team so therefore she left. She should come back to bring back that magic CB had created.

BTW, I did mention some time back that the Choubeys had written a lot of episodes for CB way back in Jan-Feb 09 timeframe much before Damini Kanwal Shetty had taken up CB! So, the Choubeys aren't new.

I did see a writer in CB way in the beginning Dec 08 written by someone who used to write 12/24 Karol in the beginning.

So, there are few limited writers and they keep moving around from serial to serial.

So, this bride swap thing is not an idea of Damini Kanwal Shetty that she is coping in Do Saheliyan.
