I agree with 100% on this. They're the best actors that I have seen thus far in my 20 years of watching Hindi Cinema. The way they can portray emotions and the way they say their dialogues. When see them on screen I laugh with them and cry when they cry. How can creators waste such talents? In my observation, I have noticed that Zee stars do not have loyalty to this channel because probably because of shabby treatment. Do you see any stars repeated on Zee? Star plus stars have loyalty to their channels probably because they're treated well. To bring Vishaka and Amma, creators have messed-up their own creations.

After watching the show, on hindsight I felt that today's show had so much potential and the half hour felt wasted in patao dialogues, non-direction and lack of jhanoon between 2 people who I expected to display it the most - Dev and Radhika - not because they don't know how but because they were not given the right material to work with.
The fault is with the Creatives' team!
Of all people you can watch on Indian television, Dev and Radhika HAVE CHEMISTRY! They have displayed such chemistry in sad, happy and melodramatic moments!
The whole story revolves around the one truth that has been hidden from the world - Dev and Radhika's first wedding, the heart and soul of this show!. One would expect the moment when it comes out and the conversation between them to be electrifying, passionate, angry, and a whole slew of emtions that leads to the eventual understanding of each other in the most meaningful of ways.
So what if Dev and Radhika love each other unconditionally, but Dev was the aggrieved party. He was put through a lifetime of hell in the short period of time he was with Vishakha. I expected him to be more human and show his pain to Radhika even as far as a couple of episodes. I expected him to realize Radhika's pain too and Radhika's fight for her astitva in the Shashtri household. I was not asking to see the evidence, I know what it is. All I wanted was the PASSION, the CHEMISTRY that comes from great dialogues, the UNDERSTANDING at the end why they maintain their eternal and unconditional love for each other.
Was I asking too much? Nah!
What I got was one moment of Dev's anger and that too at Ms Butinsky who was in every room and frame, a few pat dialogues, Radhika's crying like her old self and dull, dull, dull interaction. How can 2 actors who are responsible for the reason I watch this show be subjected to such crap by the Creatives, I will never understand. They are so hung up on their circles and carrots - the 2 Cs - that they cannot see how much they are hurting their own show!
For shame!

Totally agree with you gardes!

Dev and Radhika have THE CHEMISTRY. I had even said in the past that I had never seen any other onscreen couple with this amazing chemistry as these 2 guys on Indian Entertainment media in the past or current and was doubtful about the future. We had seen what these guys can portray if given an oppurtunity. That chemistry for me, was long gone because of these creatives liking for stupid tracks.

But, this so very important scene of the entire show, I mean, the whole show all
these days only had this scene as its backbone and finally when the scene came out that scene just frizzled out when it was actually shown. AND it is not because of our expectation, it was clearly because the creatives did not give the treatment this scene required. It was so hurriedly done. Few repeat dialogues and thats it, done! It was so poorly done!

Gardes,

I was not planning to write this, but despite myself I was anticipating today's show. It was such a let down for all the reasons you mentioned and more. I was comparing it with last year's April 29th episode and what a difference in performances and script. The script really let down Dev and Radhika.
I knew that Dev would believe Radhika in first few minutes. It was no brainer. He knows Radhika for more than a year now and whom would he believe - Vishaka or Radhika. Obviously, he would know that Radhika did it out of obligation towards her family and would forgive in the end. It is the middle part that was such a let down.
The creatives have decided that half of the show must belong to Vishaka and she must be given those stupid dialogues where nobody contradicts her as everyone becomes dumb in front of her.
1. The talk between Radhika and Dev just before the first wedding. I may be wrong, butI thought it was not known to anybody. Suddenly, Vishaka knows about it because Radhika told her?? I don't think Vishaka told this conversation to Dev during the wedding night. But whatever.
2. The inane dialogues between Radhika and Dev. Radhika saying that she did it as a sacrifice just as he finally accepted Vishaka. Well, Dev decided to move on only after Radhika told him that she was getting married to someone else, doesn't love him, his father died and he became RP. Even then he never moved on with Vishaka and begged Radhika several times to let him divorce Vishaka so that three lives are not ruined. Also, even if he decided to move on, he was under the impression that Vishaka was his official and religious wife. On the other hand, Radhika knew that Vishaka was not married to Dev, was running away from home for her movie career, was making video and planning to sleep with Dev without marriage. Radhika never stopped that or took any action to prevent that. I was expecting Dev to point that out that it was a sin as a RP for him to sleep with Vishaka and Radhika allowed that sin. If the sin didn't happen, it was because of Dev and not because of Radhika.
3. I accepted Dev to point otu that she used in a way him and his family to pay her debts to Shastri family. also, the sacrifice should be for the worthy person adn not for the unworthy. Basically, Radhika allowed Vishaka to do all that damage to Dev and his family. She never expressed remorse not even today. The old Dev from last year would have told her off for that. I accepted them to have at least 2 episodes to discuss this and then come back after Radhika was suitably repentant and realized her mistakes. Nothing like that happened.
4. Finally, Vishaka is talking those stupid dialogues about Radhika always lying and making fool of this nice family. How come Dadi was not given a single dialogue where she said that Vishaka was the one who got Dadi arrested that morning by lying blatantly to the police. So, if it comes between Vishaka adn Radhika, Radhika wins hands down. If Vishaka is low enough to want to sleep with dev for one night, she is capable of so much more and everyone knows that.
Now, coming to Shastriji, hasn't he seen his mother in action now - first at Mehndi and then at PB threatening to send the entire family to the jail by burning Vishaka. If she was a witness, why would he be inclined to believe her over Radhika. If she let that sin happen at the first wedding, won't she lie even now? How is her testimony preferred over just taking Radhika's word who hasdone numerous sacrifices for him and his family? For that matter, why would PF believe Amma who just ruined their lives? Hopefully, tomorrow's episode would be more logical.
Wasn't planning to write anything but had to vent after seeing today's episode. Now getting sure that Devki is going to lie too and Radhika won't be believed until the photo comes out probably courtesy of Birju who is the smartest of them all at this time.

Why3,
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah there .......................... you are back 😃
Actually very good points.Totally agree.

Just to keep Vishaka's track going on, all of a sudden the viewers are told that Radhika had confided that talk between her & Dev in the middle of the 1st marriage to Vishaka and Vishaka had also told that to Dev ... waah waah ... what creativity ! My foot!😡

I know we are not supposed to do comparison posts here but I cannot help myself.
Today I did something very rare. I watched every single show on Zee Tv starting with CB. I know we are behind in the US and thus my observation would be irrelevant to this thread, but nonetheless, here is what I noticed: every single show is much better than CB. Am I saying that the other actors and actresses on these shows are better than Avi and Rubi? No. Am I saying the other jodis on these shows have more chemistry than RaDev/Avina? No. Am I saying that the writing, direction, editing, and overall show packaging of the other shows is better than CB? YES!
Take a look at Lali and Archana. In today's US episodes both Ratan and Ankita were simply awesome...not because they are better actresses than Rubina, but because they have much, much better material to work with. Even Abha from YMGGK and Maithali and Bhanwari from DS, a relatively new show, have far better dialogues and material to work with. Same goes for the leading men of these other shows. They are not dumbed down like our poor Dev is. Not only that, but these other artistes and the jodis they are part of are given much more publicity by Zee TV than RaDev and Avina. That's why CB and Rubina never win any awards. Avi manages to win because he has a huge number of female fans. But poor Rubi always gets left out in the cold because she is never given anything strong and substantial to do on CB and nobody except her ardent fans notices her work like people notice Ratan and Ankita's. Last year at least Rubina had some good writing to work with, but this year has been a huge disappointment. Moreover, all the other shows on Zee move at a faster pace than CB and do not have so many holes and unresolved loose ends. Today's CB episode is just one in a long list of examples where the CVs screwed up bigtime. The truth revelation episode was their chance to mend the fences and bring back the charm and glory of CB. But they failed miserablely. I feel very badly for Avi and Rubi because this is not at all fair to them. I have nothing against Priyanka but I am really sick and tired of seeing Vishaka day after day. She had absolutely no right to be in today's episode, much less interupt RaDev's conversation! At this rate CB will not survive. If Zee's other shows are so imaginative and creative and give their leads a lot of good material to work with, plus Zee has a new line-up of shows, I don't think CB will make the cut unless they change their team of writers and do some serious making over.
I'm sorry if I hurt anyone's feelings, but I'm just sharing my opinion. I love Avinash and Rubina, but I'll be honest...I do not love CB anymore. Avina deserve much, much better than CB.

Sandeepa,
I totally agree with you. I have not all the serials but have caught a few episodes here and there of the current shows on few occasions and I agree that others shows have better material THAN CB. I don't want to compare but thats very true. The silliness shown in CB, only the CB bhakts can agree , which includes me too and thats why we are sticking to this show.
I did catch a couple of scene of Do Saheliyan yday and it was really good. The chemistry between karan and the (married) Suhasi is good in YMGGK too.
After I realized this fact, I do not feel that attached to CB, but I cannot stop watching too ! 😊 Someday I would maybe. AviNa can do brilliant job too if provided with an oppurtunity.

I didn't expect much from the creatives ..the show lost its charm long back so, I had little hope from the creatives ..

Today when I read the post by devradhika4ever "The BEST episode ever" I was thrilled I was looking forward for the written updates.. then didn't find anything that was either touching or impressive .. i was kind of disappointed.

Came home watched the episode twice but, didn't feel a thing ..

We have been waiting for the truth to come out for so long that its now tasteless ..

If creatives would have shown us a electrifying episode ..some what like the haridwar one. I would have forgiven them for Vish ONS and would have written it off saying .. "Creativtes, its worth it!" I forgive you, you put us through hell last few weeks but .. cholo Maaf kiya..

The show lost it charm long back and we/I are just hanging on to this show with a hope that it will get better or until few days back that the truth will be out .

But, guess what .. the truth is .. its over!

The show does not have the karishma or jadu anymore and we should stop expecting anything from Creativtes .. because we are just going to be a disappointed ..over and over again!

No offense to anyone .. like I said before ..its a free country, free forum , free CB, creatives disappoint us for free and my opinion comes for free..

So, my friends .. the best thing to do today is logoff and go to bed. That's what I am going to do.

Have a good night !

radev2010,
yes, thats right, I too did not expect much from these creatives, but they didn't even give that scene the minimum treatment it required. So bad!
LOL on your comments on "free free free " stuff 😆

gardes,
I just remembered about your comment that I read a while ago - That Dev's thunderous blasting for Vishaka was just for that 5 secs scene and there was no such tempo in the whole episode anywhere later or prior ! It was such a disjointed scene just for the "precap" .. What crappy carrot!

Thank you all for your thoughts.
Why, Sandeepa, Bani, Chalhov, Radev2010, Radhika5, Shiny, AD, Tazzi and Bee. All points well made and taken. Sorry, I could not respond individually due to time constraints.
This story needs to be refreshed by a new set of hands and the original charm needs to be restored.
The first wedding truth has dumbed down the solid characters and given more prominence to the ones who do not deserve it.
Please Creatives, your story has so many holes that your own logic is slipping right through these holes.
Get a grip, will you?
In order to up your blessed TRPs, you keep dangling the carrots. One of these days your TRP viewers will get wise about the nonsense that you air and they will leave!

Gardes: Yes, totally right you are..........Creatives are not using such talented actress - Avina............ My heart was so fixed on that pain, anguish, surpise, shock, tears, acceptance..........so many shades of emotions in Radhika and especially Dev's eyes...........those unspoken feelings, sigh of relief..............to come out...........those flash backs............Voh tum thi.............feeling........basically Haridwar showdown and better ...........How come they have parallels and circles for almost everything but not this................ I really hope that this Dev's first reaction and whole showdown is yet to come...........may be in May's Akhateej..............No harm in hoping, right...................

Anu ... you and me both ... I too am hoping that the true showdown is yet to come ...😊 I am hoping that Dev publicly supports Rads and ensures that she gets to be known as his first wife... privately he is in anguish and she forces him to confront her ... sort of like he made her reveal that she loved him

Well ... I can always dream 😊

Anu and Rajsri,
Aap ke moonh mein ghee shakkar if the Radhika-Dev scene of emotions happen on Akha Teej! I was so expecting it but these Creatives are hell-bent on ruining everything,. You would think that being their show, they would be more concerned than we are, but it is the other way around!
Oh well.
