I thought of one of the poems you had written in the past where you talked abt Rads breaking through the shackles that bound her ... well, she has finally broken through those and hope they show her continuing to stay strong. She is going to face a lot of problems but ultimately if she sticks to the truth, she will be fine

I agree with both you and Gardes ... Rad's fears have been primarily for her family ... whether it is the Shastri's or the Purohits ... their honor, etc.

One trait of Rads that always stuck with me since the beginning of the show was that while she was fearful for the sake of other people, she truly never feared the effect on her life if she was not with Dev. The emotional and mental connection that she felt with him was sufficient for her. It is only after she was married to him the second time around (with society accepting her as his wife) that she is starting to feel the need and desire to be with him all the time and is fearful of losing him

Thank you Rajsri......my sense of humour won at the end......it always does.😉
Rajsri her clinging to Dev spoke volumes.............she is worried and scared about the effect of this truth on her family (I mean both foster and in laws) but she is terrified of loosing Dev. Yep shackles that bind............I do remember that line. Infact I also wrote another one about truth and lies that also fits the past few days of action at PB and I have again posted it here.
Truth and lies
Relationships based on lies will never last
They will wither away before the days are past
Truth is what keeps it living and well
Even after the church has rung its bell.
Lies in love act as a veil
It cages the heart with no one to bail
While truth opens the door wide
And does not allow any notion to hide.
Lies can also break all faith
That can make the one you love a wraith
Whilst truth provides a strong support
That strengthens the love and rapport.
Lies slowly make you feeble
Until you feel your lifes blood dribble
While truth keeps your heart strong
So that you can stand and face any wrong.
Lies and truth are the two sides of a coin
It depends on you whom you want to join
While one gives you temporary reprieve
The other though thorny keeps one alive.

Misti: Nice post, As Gardes mentioned, Radhika always was fearful of what will happen to her family members........Even when she was talking to Kanha, all the time, she was concerned about what will happen to her PB family, and what will happen to her father's reputation........Not once, she asked Kanha, what will happen to me, when everyone will come to know that despite me being married, how did I let Vish come to PB? That is how Radhika is...........

Now from Shakespeare to Kanha:
Dharm ke maarg per chalne per itna sankoch itna baiy.....
Kanha telling Rads: Are you scared and hesistant to walk on path of Dharm and to tell truth???

Thank you Anu............Radhika usually demonstrates her deepest fears and feelings by actions. So although she is worried about others feelings it is the fear of loosing Dev that really scares her. ........her conditioned self always voices her fears or safety for others because that is what she has been taught or she has learned from childhood, but her actions when she is completely distraught shows what is hidden inside her...........when she completely breaks down in their room and Dev comes to her, she runs to Dev and clings to him...........she keeps on telling please believe me and keeps on clinging.........at that point I saw her real fear. She knows that if Dev believes her then she will not loose him.

yes fear has been a integral part of radhika's life and the love of dev has made radhika somewhat free from that but not totally,,she still is bounded by fear around her,,always she feared about her family's reputation both shastri and purohit but now the fear is about getting separated from dev and thats the biggest fear of her life till now,,,and she will fight it and if she gets dev's support in this,,no one can defeat her not even fear,,,

Thank you Shiny. Yes with Devs love she will also come out of this phase in her life.

So I come back to the forum after a few days and find out that the show has made so much progress!!!! The discussion is now on the first marriage secret being almost out. I am so happy that we seem to have broken the circular track!!!.

It is as if Radhika has now nothing more to lose and hence her fear (for herself or her family) is equaled be her fear of this secret being out and so she speaks up.

I have been waiting for this.

Anamika welcome back! I am also happy that the creatives have atleast made Radhika tell the truth.......it was high time that they did it and I think they had to do it seeing the effect and reactions of the ONS from the viewers. This was the only way they could have pacified the viewers. But the circles will still go on...........they will use parallels and circles to show the next part, that is everybody actually believing the truth.
