In this post I'm going to try to express my limited but humble opinion ...

By now it has become quite obvious and clear that Vish only has RaDev's interests and happiness in her heart ... Not once since her dramatic return to Vri, after bombay name and fame, in spite of babuji's wrath and naraazagi, have her words and actions proven anything suggestive of any wrong and impure plots ... against RaDev ...

So far she has only been up front and outspoken ... to whoever comes against sis radhika ... be it amma or anyone else ... Vish has so much as lifted both RaDev hands, joined them together, and practically made a promise ... as she so lovingly yet forcefully said .... that once you two get married, no one can succeed in separating you two ...

We already know that even kanha helped save the matki ... we already know that both the cunning plots of amma's re matki and haldi foiled ... thanks to her own poti Vish .... And we can already speculate that yet another SHAMMA (vaish/amma !) and MRISHA (mri/vaish !) mehandi plot at PB is going to be unsuccessful, futile, fall flat on their faces ... as repeated below .... well, just feel like reiterating ...

We've already noticed that Vish so obediently listens to same sis radhika, when radhika picked out the green outfit for vish ... Same Vish who rebuked and disrespected Radhika all her life .... But not any more ... Now vish speaks and smiles back at sis with respect .... Not just because Vish wants to win her pariwaar back ... but also coz she knows she has to change her entire persona to win her babuji's lost love and confidence back ...

And we've already noticed when Vish evesdropped and gave a contented, happy and sweet smile when witnessing the way Dev and Radhika were lost in their own dreamful world .... on the night when lights went out at the house ...

And I simply cannot forget the fake hug scene (on Vish part of course) between ex-saasu vaishali and Vish ... when she realizes MRISHA's real and ugly intentions ... and makes silent promise ... that she will never let anyone take radhika's haq and rights away from her ....

And now ... since vish is already at PB she knows how she's going to stop 'chalaak lomdi' (mrin - Eva's cunning fox !) if Mri ever crosses her limits.... We've also witnessed that Vish has already been adamant re applying radharani's sacred mehandi (and blokes et al ... wonderful analysis with shankaracharya story !) .. And if me thinking like DJ's, sitting inside their heads ... the reason to abruptly stop the mehandi cone Fri, in addition to obvious reasons, is coz ... IT IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN .... the reverse psychology trick .. of course ...

And all CB lovers by now know of House Arrest video re daadi's zordaar thappad to Vish at PB ... And the way all the posts here are having their own reactions to daadi's karaara (powerful ?) action ... And we cannot forget the "silent thappad" from Dev ..... when he tells Vish that if he wants to send something to Radhika he will find another way to do it and wont let Vish shadow fall upon whatever he wants to send her (main radhika ko bhejne ka koi aur tarika khoj loonga ... lekin tumhari chhaya tak nahi padne doonga ...) .... and walks away ... totally ignoring her and leaving her upset and shocked ....

And on Monday ... perhaps thru one or two epis, we will also witness Vishakha's reaction .... because if daadi does not take a strong action like thappad, how can Vishakha's reaction be not equally "strong" ?!?!

Now ... DJs have created this dichotomy whereby Vish has the Herculean task of righting all the wrongs ...

And IMHO, Vish's strong reaction ... is going to be that she will prove to our mahaarathi daadi and her loving pota dev ..... that she indeed belongs to a Shastri Pariwaar ... aur apne namak ki keemat chukayegi (english ?) in front of babuji ... altough with tears in her eyes ... that she indeed has come to PB not to aggravate but to pacify everything ....

And if need be, she will even tell daadi that how dutifully she gave sis radhika's kanha gift for her Dev ... without letting anyone in on it ...

(No, there's no way DJs are going to have Vish speak THE TRUTH ... not yet anyway .... IMO !!)

So, have tried to dissect all the above scenarios as much as I could think, to present and indeed prove that Vishakh's return mainly signifies ...that she's going to be a good daughter of Shatri Pariwaar ... and a "GOODWILL AMBASSADOR" for her sister Radhika ....

radev24, in my humble opinion, your opinions are never limited. :)

Vishaka has turned out to be quite the enigma, here. I am happy to see the change in Vishaka yet also very curious to know the reason for such a dramatic change of heart. For some one who went to the extreme of pretending to be married to a man she absolutely didn't care for and was even prepared to have his baby for the sake of a breakthrough in the filmy duniya, something drastic must have happened for such a change to occur. Or maybe nothing at all happened, after all it is CB land. I guess I will just have to wait it out and see.

I agree that it seems like Vishaka really wants to rectify all the mistakes done in the past. The point is how will she do it without letting out the 'truth' because like you said the DJs are not going to let that cat out of the bag yet.

At this point Dev tolerates her only because of Radhika and Dadi it seems cannot even tolerate her. So, how will she get the message across to these two that she is here to help them. Even in her own family babuji doesn't want to even talk to her. Devki talks to her but will not believe anything she says against the Purohit parivaar like we saw how Devki chastises Vishaka for filling Radhika's head with nonsense. And then there is Radhika. No matter how much Vishaka warns her of the MIRCHA gang Radhika will listen through one ear and let go of it through the other.

Either Vishaka needs to tell the truth about Mrin and Vaishali to someone or she needs to counter attack Mrin/Vaishali/Amma's every move. In either case I feel she wouldn't be able to get much done without Dev and Dadi's support. So it is imperative that she gets both of them to not only tolerate her but also to trust her. How she will get around to accomplishing such a feat will be interesting to watch.

Hey Angake Dear, IMHO, your opinions are just always right on and so pithy, so to the point, no beating around the bush ... excavating, peeling the layers so meticulously ... that after I read your points, I go ... hmmmm !!!

That said, the only reason I feel that DJs did a complete "face lift" to her character (i.e. a dramatic change of heart) is coz they had to come up with a strong enough reason (if not the most prolific one) to show Vishakha's come-back to CB with a big bang (no, not trp IMHO) ... And the way they connected the dots with "fame acquisition" but "losing the pariwaar" in the process... was I thought simply marvelous and brilliant on their part ... To me this was the most compelling reason for them to portray Vish in this new light ...

So now the question is .... why make Vish character so powerful .. I mean, what could be so important in DJs already-thought-out-storyline to do this turn around ... And I found the reason the other day ... (speculations if you will ...)

Vish is the only one in the ENTIRE CB cast who knows amma-vaish-mri dirty tricks, and as you say, she needs to tell the truth about them or counter attack their every move ... However, I think that Vish will still need to keep each of them on her side, under her thumb, so that they continue to trust her, i.e. diplomatically .. If any of them even get a wind of what Vish is really up to, it may backfire .... Perhaps that is the reason no soul knows how skillfully she handed sis radhika's kanha to Dev ... even at the cost of getting hurt ... To me that is the first sign of a big positive change in Vish ...

Yes, fully agree with you that Vish has the biggest task ahead of her to convey the message to the biggest duo D&D, convey it with conviction, convey it respectfully, convey it with diligence and diplomacy, convey it keeping her maayka intact, convey it without losing the respect of vaish/mri, convey it so that Daadi and Dev win her trust back, convey it truthfully ...

And kudos to your comments ~ she wouldn't be able to get much done without Dev and Dadi's support. So it is imperative that she gets both of them to not only tolerate her but also to trust her. How she will get around to accomplishing such a feat will be interesting to watch.

Well, for obvious reasons, since the HA video on the famed thappad has become an all-consuming issue here, to be shown in less than 14 hours from now, I went back and watched the above link again and realized that I totally overlooked the subsequent coverage by amma, practically screaming at our diggaj daadi, pointing finger at her so disrespectfully ...

And throwing big platitudes and tantrums as a warning that one day daadi will come back to her with folded hands and beg vish to come back to PB (aaj aapne mor vishaka ko thappad maari ke ghar se baahar kiyo hai .... lekin ek din haath jod kar aap hi oo ko wapas lene aayengi ... radhe radhe)

And I said OMG, what now ?!?! What on earth are DJs going to be up to this time ?!?!?!

One glaring question that keeps bugging me again and again ... is howcome amma is so hell bent when she knows vish has no interest or intention whatsoever in PF's CB ??? Since extending the show further is the sole objective, couldn't they cook up better storyline than keep rehashing amma's repeated one-liner ?!

Am also wondering what is going to transpire between the mehandi wala cone and the thappad and amma's outbursts !!! Many a slip between the cup and the sip ... And during all these twists and turns, what part are babuji, devki, vaishali, Mircha gang, and dev going to play ?!?!

Contrary to what may seem like popular Vish reaction of retaliation, I still strongly mainain that Vish is going to come out looking like a winner if not tomorrow maybe later this week, only because she'll react in a way no-one present at the PB expects her to react ... This is one big opportunity for Vish to prove to both the families ... that indeed she has evolved and emerged as a good shastri daughter .... and she's not going to lose this golden opportunity at any cost ... (my 2C!)

Cameramen are going to have field day this week in order to portray frowns, anger, disappointment, shock, doubts, dismay, pleasant surprises, tears, and a host of other emotions ... Amidst all this, is our Dev going to find time to call his radhika and maybe even question her why she and shastri pariwaar did this to PF ?!?!?!

We do know that daadi screams at Mri that this is radha rani ki mehandi .. itna bhi nahi janti ki ye sabse pahle dulhan ke haath mein lagti hai ?? (Don't u even know that this mehandi is supposed to be applied FIRST to dulhan ??)

And later when amma is being interviewed, she expresses her character as to how much she tried to make fav poti the CB .... and yet it was all rendered naaqaamyaab (unsuccessful) in spite of so many attempts, indicating the way Shastri pariwaar was being hurt and humiliated ... as if giving her reasons why she screamed at daadi and warned her the way she did ...

One thing seems certain that no matter how much us viewers try to bang our heads to make some sense out of all this, DJs have their own tracks, prepared and planned from week to week only ... as some posts have indicated ... In the process, the continuity seems to get lost somewhere, causing more confusion and chaos ...

BTW, I think the amma warning is NOT going to take place just yet coz a lot of scenarios have to happen, serious ones, for that ultimate warning to even surface ...

Would love to hear valuable comments, viewpoints, hopefully helping DJs ... who knows 😕

Well, today's epi has come and gone ... but left an indelible mark ... on every single character's mind ... present at the PB ... so deep that no one, and I mean no one is going to cross mahaarathi daadi .... EVER ....

Today's epi is so significant and IMHO is going to pave the way and a great foundation for the success of upcoming episodes ... To do my little contribution and little gesture ... to do justice to this episode .. I'm going to try to give my 5C little more elaborately ...

Things had to come to this precarious juncture for daadi to finally put her RP stamp on one and all, to put her foot down once and for all ... no one can ever dare to cross her ... no one can ever play dirty tricks and get away with it ... koi jurrat bhi nahi karega ... mircha or no mircha, vaish or no vaish ... And our Dev now knows even more firmly that his beloved daadi will go to any extent, to any lengths .. to see her pota and radhika happy .. at any cost ..

Lot of predictions and speculations came true, and some that did not ...

As expected and predicted, the mehandi cone was not going to work .. to everyone's surprise and dismay, esp amma/vaish/mrin .. (but not us viewers) .. Even our vishakha was not really interested in applying the mehandi ... poor girl didn't even know that it was suhag ki Radha Rani mehandi ... Even walks away under the pretext that .. due to travel etc her hands are dirty and needs to clean them prior to applying mehandi ... but unsuccessful ... as she's dragged back down again .... until daadi appears on the scene ... as discussed below ...

Up to this point we know and can clearly see that vish has no hidden agenda, no ulterior motive, none whatsoever ... Since her return to Vri she has only displayed innocence, innocent happiness, renewed respect towards everyone in her shastri pariwaar, esp towards radhika ... We also know that she doesn't want to go to PB .. but respects radhika's wishes ... and majbooran has to go ... to deliver radhika's kanha gift to her Dev ....

Commendable editing begins and we see camera switching to Vri where radhika is trying to locate/find the ball that she and nandu are playing with ... but the ball jumps over on top of the cupboard in amma's room .....

Clever amma's cleverly hidden shagun ki mehandi on top of the cupboard falls on radhika's hands, when she tries to reach nanhe kanha nandu's ball on top of the cupboard .... and in the process ... a dribble of the suhag ki FIRST mehandi falls on her palm .. by radha/kanha's blessings .. followed by a happy sweet tune of sitar ...

But simultaneously at PB just when mrin has opened up the blocked cone ... daadi's hand forcefully snatches it away from badi bahu ... All eyes suddenly turn towards daadi .. when she screams out ~ ye kya tamasha ho raha hai ? Ye ladki yahan kya kar rahi hai ? Aur mri tum ye mehndi iss ke haathon mein kyon laga rahi ho ? Tumhe pata nahi ki radha rani mehandi sirph dulhan ko lagai jati hai ? ... (what kind of spectacle is this ? What is this girl [vish] doing here ? {At this point amma comes from behind vish totally shocked} Mrinalini, why are you putting this mehandi on her? Dont you know Radharani's mehandi is supposed to be applied only on the bride's hand ??

Dev is shown for the 1st time (with a different but cute haircut) and suddenly looks up ... Vishaka is surprised while shastriji and devki are stunned ... Vaish surprisingly listens in ...

Vishaka's mouth barely opens in response .. and all she gets to say is ~ woh daadima ... And daadi slaps vish khoob zordaar se ... Everyone gathered there is stunned and shocked ... Devki has tears in her eyes, while amma feels totally hurt, crushed and humiliated, to see fav poti being slapped so mercilessly by daadi ...

Daadi says by what right are you calling me daadima ? The day you left this house, all my relationship with you was broken .... Vishaka has tears in her eyes and looks at daadi ... daadi continues ~ you do not have any right to call me daadima .... You don't have any right to enter this house, still you are standing here .... Maine tumhare jaisi besharam ladki nahi dekhi (I have not seen a shameless girl like you). Hamare pyaar, hamare vishvaas ka apmaan karne ke baad tum yahan aayi ho? Iss tarah? (after insulting our love and trust, you have come here? Like this ? How did you have the audacity to come here? (Iss tarah tumhari himmat kaise huyi yahan aane ki ?)

Through all this, Dev looks perplexed, tongue-tied, confused, unsure ... He knows when elders are speaking, it is disrespectful to even open the mouth, much less say something ..

Devki is in tears, Shastriji is stunned ... Vivek, birju, chacha, deepika, vaish, mri ... all are shocked ...

Daadi then turns towards Shastriji and says ~ aapne isse apni beti maankar phir se apne ghar main rakha, wahan tak toh thik tha ... par isse yahan laane se pehle aapko sau baar sochna chahiye tha (you considered her your daughter again and kept her in your house, till then it was fine ... but you should have thought a 100 times before you brought her here).

Amma looks furious while shastriji is embarrassed .... Dadi then turns to Devki and says ~ yesterday on the phone I intentionally did not mention Vishaka's name, thinking that you would understand ~ But no, tum ya to naasamajh ho ... ya apni beti ke pyaar main samajh ko kho baithi ho (you either have poor understanding or lost your understanding in the love of your daughter) ....

Amma is shocked even more .... Now ... daadi's next prahaar (attack) is towards amma ~ aur aap samdhanji ... main jaanti hoon ki Vishaka aapki laadli hai, lekin aapko to isse yahan se aane se rokna chahiye tha .... (and you, I know Vishaka is your favorite but atleast you should have stopped her from coming here), kyonki aap jaanti hain ki ek bhaaghi huyi bahu ka apne sasural main koi sthan nahi hota .. (because you know that a runaway daughter-in- law has no place in that house again) ...

Daadi then turns to Vaishali and says ~ Mrinalini has never respected her elders ... but you ? You also don't remember what I had said, that this girl will not come into our house .... Vishaka is in tears .... Daadi says ~ there will be no relationship with her, then why didn't you stop her at the door, why did you not tell her to return from there itself?

Daadi then turns to Vishaka ~ whenever I see you, I remember that because of you, because of you, my Radhika was thrown out of this house .... (hearing that ... dev turns his head down ... as if recollecting what could have happened at that time at PB ... since he was away in Vri ... And Shastriji remembering that .... closes his eyes and is visibly very upset .... while devki is in tears, chacha as always .. is watching the fun, the drama .. and gloating).

Daadi continues ~ and tells Vishaka ... because you entered this house, this house has become impure ... Vishaka is in tears ....

Shastriji then pleads in front of maaji for her forgiveness .... and says ~ your word will never be disrespected again ....

Shastriji pulls Vishaka by her left hand and takes her all the way to the front foyer ... all eyes are watching the two leave ... A sad aalaap is heard in the background ... Vaish is quietly watching .... but cant say anything ... No one can say anything ... how can they ?? No one has seen this viraat swaroop of daadi ever before (not even us viewers) ...

Shastriji is taking vish outside in front of everyone and stops by the PB entrance .... Shastrji then pointing towards the door with force .. tells Vishaka this is your lakshman rekha ... do not try to cross it ... (ye tumhari lakshman rekha hai ... isse laanghne ki cheshta mat karna)

Vishaka cries and says I didn't want to come here myself .... Of course, shastriji doesn't allow her to speak further, interrupts her and says ~ I don't want to hear any argument ... this is my daughter's sasuraal (in-laws place) .... please don't come here again ... (main koi bhi tark vitark nahi sunna chaahta .. ye meri beti ka hone wala sasuraal hai .. tum kadaapi yahan nahi aana ..)

Vishaka is in tears and slowly walks outside the house .... Here we all notice the dichotomy, the karmic justice if you will ... When mri was dragging radhika in front of entire PB clan in epi 6/12, to throw her outside the house, vish was watching quietly, only tears in her eyes, helpless .. and radhika's beseeching eyes and head turned towards daadi all the way thru the front doors ... no one saying a word or even wondering if there was any truth to purab story.

And now tables have turned ... this time it's a different sister .. perhaps paying for her own "sins", her own previous karmas in this lifetime itself ... with a little difference ... this time kanha makes sure thru haldi rasam, that radhika can't be there to stop all this from happening to her sister vishaka ..

When shastriji comes back inside, Amma in a scolding tone says ... you didn't do right lalla .. (ee tune theek na kiyo hai, lalla) ... Daadi hears this and turns around and amma kind of rebukes at her too as if implying that you didn't do right either ...

Amma admits that she knows Vishaka made mistakes ... but she's our blood and we can't ignore that .... If you could not forgive her and forget the past, then why did you invite all of us here? Amma is in tears and says ~ insulting invited guests like this does not suit the Rajpurohits (ghar aaye mehmaan ko is bali apmaan karna rajpurohiton ko shobha nahi deta) ...

Amma keeps blurting ~ if I had even an inkling that my Vishaka was going to be insulted in this manner, I would never have brought her here .... Daadi just keeps staring at her in a disgusting way ... Amma keeps ranting and raving ~ I thought she is not just my grand-daughter but this house's choti bahu as well ....

Saying that amma starts to leave but turns around and speaks very disrespectfully to daadi ~ just remember, today you slapped my Vishaka and threw her out ... but one day you will come to take her back with folded hands .... Amma virtually stares at daadi .... folds her hands and screamingly says ~ Radhe Radhe ...

With all these horrific goings on, Devki is about to faint ... and shastriji, daadi and Dev help her up ... Devki touches daadi's feet and asks for her forgiveness and says ~ maaji, we came here to be a part of the celebrations .... but everything went bad (ham to yahn aapke mangal mein shamil hone aye the .. parantu sab amangal ho gaya .... Please believe us that shastriji is not responsible for this ... he didn't even want Vishaka to come ... she came here only because I asked her to ...

Daadi lifts Devki up and says ~ I don't have any complaints .... Devki says I know Vishaka has done a lot of wrong against this family and you have every right to be angry at her but what do I do, I am a mother .... A father can do his daughter's tarpan but how does a mother do it? How do I break all my relationship with her ?? I have kept her in my womb for 9 months, how do I tell her to leave this wedding and leave ....

Devki cries and pleads with maaji to let Vishaka be a part of this wedding .... Shastriji asks what are you saying Devkiji .... she cannot stay a moment in our house .... the wedding is another story (vivah to door ki baat hai) ... Shastriji says ~ I am only saying what the truth is .... At this point, daadi speaks up and says ~ no shastriji ... I have no problem if you keep her as your daughter, but I dont want Vishaka to ever come in this house again .... (nahi shastriji ... aap vishaka ko apni beti maan kar apne ghar mein rakhein ... iss mein mujhe koi aapatti nahi ... main to sirph itna hi chahti hoon ki vishaka dobara iss ghar main na aaye)

PRECAP

Precap looks pretty uneventful ... Tomorrow we'll see radhika and yes, vishaka too, looking at least happy, participating at the mehandi function in Vri ... Laali from AJMBK guest-stars ~ singing to Lata's song ....

MY BRIEF VIEWS

We've heard the expression ~ calm before the storm ... except today was anything but calm before the storm ... The precap may have a little reflection of .. things back to normal .. but we know too well ... that ain't going to be so ...

Tomorrow may be the beginning of victory of good over evil ... but also the beginning of end of mircha as we know it ... daadi is going to put vaish to task ... not mri to task ... coz daadi is too smart to waste her time and patience on an already-wasted and useless badi bahu ...

Daadi and dev communication is going to take a different turn ... daadi is going to have to throw light on what dev's ma vaish has done up to this point ... that vaish doesn't really have her son's best interest at heart ... If vaish can value a value-less badi bahu's opinions, then she needs to be given a strong lesson on what motherhood is all about ... what the mother of an RP, what the mother of a wonderful son should be like ... what should be her priorities ... give her crash course of what purohits have stood up for all along ... be that societal injustices and other adharms in the name of dharm ...

Even more important scenarios are going to transpire at Shastri household ... Although not shown, but radhika is going to make sure that vishaka becomes an integral part of rest of her wedding rasams ... Shatriji may not object either ... after all, buzurg daadi has no problem with what vish does as long as she never sets foot at PB ...

Amma is phata dhol anyway ... flat tyre with no air ... her dhamkiyan and threats to daadi ... are just that ... threats ... no substance .... she was just being vengeful at PB, seeing "mor poti" being humiliated in front of whole clan ....

All said and done, I still maintain very strongly that .... Vishaka is yet going to prove that she's indeed radhika's goodwill ambassador .... even w/o having to ever visit the PB ...

Thanks for your views.
I hope Vishaka is going to prove that she's indeed radhika's goodwill ambassador, even w/o having to ever visit the PB. I hope she will help Radev milan, which does not look will happen.

It was a very powerful episode wasn't it.

I maybe in the minority here but I don't understand why our Indian shows relish the idea of giving slaps. I don't think the slapping was necessary at all but other than that I thoroughly enjoyed the episode. Words have so much more power than a slap. The pain of a slap will be forgotten with time but words like those uttered by Dev on Friday and by Dadi today can never be forgotten.

Coming back to today's episode, I, of course agreed with everything Dadi said. How the shastri family could even think about bringing Vishaka to PB is beyond me. But I am glad that she came. Dadi in front of everyone including all the guests, severed any relationship with Vishaka and thus establishing to the society that Radhika is not stepping in for Vishaka, the bahu who ran away but is coming as the rightful choti bahu of the Purohit family.

I especially liked Dadi's statement to Shastri ji that he should have thought 100 times before bringing Vishaka. I felt the same way when I watched Friday's episode.

I never thought Radhika was wrong in asking Dev (although I thought she could have made the request with a bit more finesse) if HER SISTER who even though is Dev's ex could take part in the wedding. It was then up to Dev wether he abided by her request or rejected it. But I thought it was totally wrong on Radhika's part to ask Vishaka to go to PB, knowing how Vishaka insulted the family. Radhika could have very well sent the gift through Devki. I know Rads was also challenged by Amma but still it was wrong.

But here is the thing... we viewers always expect Radhika or Dev or even Vishaka to act responsibly in various scenarios. How can we expect these young adults who are probably in their early twenties to act responsibly when the adults don't act responsibly. Shastriji is the father and the head of the family. No matter how much Amma or Devki or even Radhika convinced Shastriji, did he not have the moral responsibility to take into account the feelings of the Purohit family. Could he not have imagined the repercussion of taking Vishaka to PB.
I understand Devki is a mother and she wants Vishaka to be part of the wedding but did she not have the responsibility to keep Vishaka away from the Purohit house. When the adults did not show any responsibility in considering the Purohit family's feelings how do we expect Radhika to take into account their feelings.

I do believe that Vishaka has Radhika's best interest in her heart but I am not yet sure if she understands the extent to which she has wronged Radhika. After her return nobody has explicitly told Vishaka how much she has hurt others by her actions. Even Dev considering the circumstances was pretty civil to her. Dadi today without mincing any words told her how wrong her actions were. However I feel, instead of bringing out any negative feelings in Vishaka this incident is going to bind her more strongly to Radhika and deepen her realization that her selfishness has done grave injustice to Radhika.

Now, the stage is set for Radhika's entry into PB as the rightful owner of the status 'Purohit family's Choti Bahu' and also the rightful owner of Dev's heart. Wether Radhika will enter PB or not is yet to be seen.

Yes, RaDev milan from whatever I've read and/or understood from the grapevine ... looks like a remote possibility ... just as well ... coz less we/I know about it .. the better ...

Somehow haven't been able to open the promo link on my computer or address browser .. so no clue what's in store ... went on utube also, but got indirect news and radhika all decked up in heavy dulhan ke libaas mein ...

Anyhow, my very strong vibes and intuition tells me that shastri niwas is going to be the battle ground for vish to operate from .... Like daadi today, our Vishaka is going to let everyone know, let everyone prove, one by one, that her intentions are pure ...

And if for that, she has to put up with babuji's anger, or cross any other hurdles that come her way, she will ... Anyone who even remotely believes that amma or mircha will try to sway her ... are perhaps not watching and evaluating the show carefully .. sorry MHO ...

She knows that every word uttered by daadi today against her ... is true ... And as mentioned before, she's going to right all the wrongs ... Vish is not the one who minces words either ... she's outspoken, blunt, fearless ... in speaking her mind up front ...

While she's not privy to amma's last outbursts and threats to daadi, she's not going to fall for amma's impure iraade either ... poti is amma's weakness and poti knows that ... and if push comes to shove, our Vish may even take advantage of amma's "weakness" ...

Well, a lot needs to be settled and cleared before THE truth ever comes out ... and creatives as usual are going to keep stretching the show ... as long as it takes .... before that ultimate revelation ...

I maybe in the minority here but I don't understand why our Indian shows relish the idea of giving slaps. I don't think the slapping was necessary at all but other than that I thoroughly enjoyed the episode. Words have so much more power than a slap. The pain of a slap will be forgotten with time but words like those uttered by Dev on Friday and by Dadi today can never be forgotten.

Coming back to today's episode, I, of course agreed with everything Dadi said. How the shastri family could even think about bringing Vishaka to PB is beyond me. But I am glad that she came. Dadi in front of everyone including all the guests, severed any relationship with Vishaka and thus establishing to the society that Radhika is not stepping in for Vishaka, the bahu who ran away but is coming as the rightful choti bahu of the Purohit family.

I especially liked Dadi's statement to Shastri ji that he should have thought 100 times before bringing Vishaka. I felt the same way when I watched Friday's episode.

I tend to agree regarding the slapping part, but it was from daadi ... who's a very respectable aatmabhimani (self-respecting) member of society and RP mother and grandmother .. IMHO slapping is not her style and has never been even once on the show ... Daadi rather not raise a hand ever ... but I believe this was an exceptional case ..

No one listened to her demand, binti, not devki, not shastriji, not vaishali ... not even the oldest member amma ... She was clearly adamant and opposed to ever seeing vish face for all the pains she caused to her fav pota Dev ...

Yes, totally agree that "pen (words) is always mightier than sword" ... Vish's presence at PB clearly established that radhika was going to earn a respectable place for herself as the CB, not a secondary place or stepping in for the 1st CB (albeit fake..) ... Every word of daadi was just so full of power and strength and command, and shook up everyone listening .. for good ...

Yes, I thought about it too that the gift could have been sent thru devki, but even lalla couldn't stop vish from going to PB against his strong amma's orders ... much less radhika ... As always radhika just caved in to amma's challenge to prove herself as vishaka's sister ... Well, nothing we can do to alter what DJs have set their minds to do, however illogical and insensible their moves and twists may be ...

How true about elders behaving like some irresponsible people ... and expecting youngsters to behave like grown responsible adults ... Yet you may have noticed, as we all have, that thru almost all the epis to this day, with the exception of daadi perhaps, that the show is running thru whatever strength the three main characters have been endowed with ...

While Dev and RaDev have stolen more scenes length of coverage-wise, and vish having to disappear for a while (supposedly achieving name/fame), fact remains that major responsi-bility has rested on these six young shoulders, more than all the elders put together .... Please do correct me if I'm wrong ...

And this isn't the first time that shastriji's character has been relegated to secondary imporance inspite of a very strong, powerful, truthful, priestly character ... and sadly may not be the last time either ...

It's also my opinion that a role or character of any soap/movie is formulated based on what and how much it's going to contribute towards strengthening the storyline .. Just a quick example ... there are so many characters on CB who have little to no contribution to enhancing and/or improving the story ... be that deepika, arjun, vivek, birju .. u get the pic ..

Perhaps this is the reason why shastriji's character is not given its due share of importance. If he did, he would have put his foot down and not listened to amma at all ... DJs need to revise their thought processes, scratch their heads little more, and make CB more palatable, more formidable (oximoron ?), not another run of the mill show ... even though I do believe the show has more substance than all the others on the tv ... at least to me ....
