Firstly, Radhika is too submissive. Talk about fighting for your rights.
Secondly, although she says she is a devout believer of her deity, she time and time again, lies to the world about "being married" to her deity and forsakes her husband, who just as much as her, is deserving of marital rights with her.
Thirdly, she is always taking the rap of Vishaka. What kind of message is that for young girls?
Fourthly, she gives up too darn easily.
All in all, radhika is not a good role model for young girls, or anyone for that matter.
I can't stand it that she is always praying for things to get better. How about the lord helps no one who doesn't help himself? I was sympathetic to her initially but of late, i just find her ANNOYING. I mean, if she allows herself to be treated as a door mat, then she deserves the kind of treatment she is getting!

I agree totally. They always compare her to Meera/Mirabai on the show, but Mirabai was known for being defiant, strong and always happy & exalted because of her faith. Radhika neither has enough devotion to God to be happy even when others are trying to harm her, nor does she have the defiance or strength to fight for what does make her happy.

She would be admirable if she could smile in the face of all these problems and realise that these worldly problems are temporary OR she could say that God has made Dev her husband and he is her first priority above even her own family - and she wouldn't let him commit the sin of living with another woman.

Instead I just pity her for not being strong enough to commit wholly to God OR her husband OR her family - poor girl!
