Thanks for the update. Very well written...
Now, I do not want to offend anyone, but Dev's character needs work.
Dev was introduced to the audience as a romantic, loving and mature individual and the audience loved him. But the present storyline is not showing Dev in an acceptable light.
The audience knows that Dev was deceived. But Dev does *not* know that. He suspects something, but he is not certain. As far as he is concerned, he is a married man (and not married to Radhika).
The audacity of the creative team surprises me. They are showing a newly married man tell another woman that he is going to take her home and introduce her to his family as his true love. The institution of marriage is revered by all cultures and such behavior is difficult to digest.
Dev told Radhika that he thought he was marrying her but after lifting the veil found that the bride was a different person. So since he did not marry the woman he wanted, he can forget his bride and now go after Radhika?
How can he assume that Radhika will accept him knowing that he is married?
Why couldn't Radhika tell him - "No, I cannot come to meet you. I am a woman and I cannot betray another woman. How will your wife feel"?
Sorry to say this, but *this episode* is ludicrous. Dev needs solid proof of the deception. Only then it is appropriate for him to approach Radhika. Now that he knows she is "real", he should show some restraint.
I hope they show that his mother's "Kasam" reminds Dev that he is a married man and he needs to solve his problem in a way that no one is hurt.
