Chalhov, thanks. Yes, I am taking your suggestion in adding more variety. But it is difficult because I tend to overwhelm VM when I use new features. So trying to create a balance where new features show that the scene has shifted in the VM or is telling a story. But I don't want new features to be the story itself and that's what I ended up doing in one of my VMs.

like misti ,i loved the grey shades in dev's character ... but wish they had shown proper remorse on the part of bholu - not in the form of an apology to rads but repentance that he had fallen short of his own ideals

The Akele Hai songs goes well because even in the movie, the situation was similar where the leads were being hunted by their families. There it ended in tragedy and here it almost ended in tragedy. But this was one time when Dev was the freest he had ever been in his life. He was only connected to Dada in that family and later on Radhika was the only family for him. When he saw that PF was a danger to both, he broke his shackles and found happiness in this world where they had nothing but each other. So this was a beautiful track and the best track where characterizations were all consistent of both leads as well as side characters. Also the theme of the show with Kanha in the background was well maintained. The creative head at that time did a great job. Too bad that she left or was let go after that July 24th ME. That's when the quality of the show really went downhill because Dev's character was badly tempered with from that time onwards.

The characters of Dev and Radhika along with side characters were very good. Also the actors playing these roles were talented actors. The way was lost right from the beginning, but at least the original writing team maintained characterization and theme of the show. The later writing team just went into their bubble world and took viewers for granted. You can do to core fans who would tolerate a lot for the sake of their favorite actors or a favorite show. But the audience who is more detached to any show and is not attached to either characters, actors or a show would move away. That's what happened. They did not take advantage of good ratings and showed a story that would have kept that set of audience. The result was that the show got closed within 3 months of that high rating period.
